I was working for company till 2012 where i have accumulated epf . I had gap years till 2016, when i joined new company and worked till 2018 and retired at age of 58. I was allicated UAN and i withdrew accumulated epf of 2 years and eof account was closed. I still have accumulated epf in compsny i left in 2012 and not able to withdraw or transfer earlier as company closed diwn in 2012. I approached the EPFO, they asked form 13 to be submitted tobe signed by cu?rent or previous employer- in my case my earlier company closed, last company account closed, and i dont have cutrent employer- how can i get my accumulated epf. Request guide possible process. One EPFO said join a new company, initiate new epf acccount and apply for transfer after a couple of months - i am not sure how feasible i this as i am already 64, and will epfo allow new account at thus age after a gap of 6 years?

Ans: Your case is unique. My suggestion is get help from a lawyer who specialises in labour laws to represent your case with EPFO.
