This is rubbish, go to Kfintech and they will tell you you got 40 shares of JSW for every 100 shares of JVSL and after split you can get only 40 and not 16000 shares! I went personally to Kfintech branch in Blore and got this message

Ans: then thats the right number, plz follow the process.

U have 500 shares of Jindal Vijayanagar. Considering there was jsw steel merged in Jindal Vijayanagar in ratio 1:16. In my understanding. My shares will be as it is I.e 500. Considering split in 2017 it will become 5000. Is my understanding correct

Sir, regarding Jindal Vijayanagar Steel (Shares issued in 1995) to JSW conversion, I see multiple responses. At some place it is mentioned the conversion rate is 1:16 means for every JVSL share, 16 JSW share will be issued and then further split of 1:10 another shares will be issued. And at some place it shows different number. I have contacted KFintech several times but haven't received any response back yet. I will appreciate if you please share more information on this. Thanks

I have fully paid 300 shares of JINDAL VIJAYNAGAR STEEL LTD with face value Rs.10/- as alloted in the year 1995. When I contacted in the month of Mar'25 with register M/S KFin Technologies they confirmed me in writing that only 130 shares of JSW Steel of Re. 1/- is eligible after splitting. As per their statement, conversion was made with amalgation ratio is 4.375 of JSW for every 100 (JVSL). Now, it is requested to guide me whether the conversion ratio is right or otherwise.

Ans: if it is from the registrar then it has to be right.
