MY cousin has recently sold a site and got a sum of 1.33 crores. He is asking me to advise whether he can invest partially in NHAI/Rural development bonds and rest in purchasing a site. Can you please help?

Ans: The provided information is not sufficient to comment on any kind of investment in the same as we have to first calculate the capital gain that arises on the property you sold, for which costs incurred and received are required.

Please consult your advisor for the calculation, he/she will guide you on your investments too.
