Ans: At AEEE 2026 rank 14,222, CSE core at Amrita Coimbatore is unlikely, especially under Other State quota. Available 2024 trend data shows Coimbatore CSE closed around 6,000 (Home State / 3,000 (Other State), and CSE specialisations around 7,000 (Home State) / 4,000 (Other State), so 14,222 is risky for Coimbatore CSE. Better backups are ECE/EEE/E&I at Coimbatore, or CSE/CSE-specialisation at Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Amaravati, depending on slab and round movement. Sir is it difficult to clear advance for a student who secure 96% in mains.

Ans: JEE Advanced tests deeper concepts and problem-solving speed, but with focused preparation and strong mock practice, it is definitely achievable. For the time being, forget about the 96%ile in Mains. Revise all the concepts and solve PYQS. There is no correlation between the JEE (Main) percentile and the JEE (Adv) examination.

Sir, I passed Class 12th in 2025 with 68% marks in the board exams. Then I took a drop for JEE preparation and also appeared for CBSE improvement exams in 3 subjects. This time, my percentage increased to 76.4%. Sir, next year, in 2027, I will appear for JEE Main again. If I get a good rank in JEE Main, will I still not get admission into an NIT? This year, I scored 92 percentile in JEE Main.

Ans: In 2027, you will be eligible for NIT admission through JoSAA/CSAB if you secure a good JEE Main rank, as NITs consider the latest valid improvement marksheet for the 75% eligibility criterion. However, please review the latest brochure for any changes to the eligibility criteria.
