Hello Doctor, my mother is 60 years old, and we live in a small town where medical help isn’t immediately available. I’ve always been paranoid about missing critical signs of a stroke or heart attack, especially because she has high blood pressure and cholesterol. Could you please guide me on how to quickly and accurately recognize these warning signs and what immediate steps I should take before professional help arrives?

Ans: The best way is to see your physician at least once in 6 months and get some tests done especially CBC, Lipid Profile, kidney & Liver function tests, electrolytes , ECG and USG of Neck and any other test which the doctor advices. Don't panic. there are many things which are not predictable. We can take precautions and leave rest to fate!
