Dr. I am taking Glyxambi 25 mg once a day and cyblex three times a day. Price of Glyxambi is increasing every quarter at present price is 891 rupees can you suggest alternative medicine for Glyxambi

Ans: There are several cheaper substitutes. You can go to any of the pharmacy websites like Tata 1mg for example and look up Glyxambi. on that page, look up 'view all substitutes'. This would give you all the different options. Alternatively, you can go to generic medications store and they will be able to give you even cheaper substitutes, either in the same combination or as separate pills.

My diabetes 145 in morning before food and after food 170. I am taking Glyxambi 25 mg in morning before food. Is there alternative medicine available as Glyxambi 25 mg is very costly for 10 medicine it's 800 rupees.

Ans: This drug has shown some serious side effects in Clinical trials. Please take a second opinion with a Medical specialist

Ans: It is a combination of two medicines empagliflozin and linagliptin is the generic name
It is fairly a new drug and very few company manufacture it. At present it is, imported from. Australia.
Consult your Physician and ask for an alternative or take the medicine individually with the generic name. Then you need to take two medicines

Sir, My son could get CSE in government IIITS -Pune,Bhopal,Vadodara,Surat,kota,Guwahati,Kottayam etc [ all except Allahabad, Gwalior,Lucknow ]. Many of these IIITs are operating from temporary Campus as the permanent campuses are under construction. My son may also get B Tech ICT at DAIICT Gandhinagar also. Considering everything like academics, internships, placement, cocurricular & extra curricular activities and overall college life..... which one is preferable government IIITs or DAIICT

Ans: Prefer IIITs-CSE. Temporary Campuses won't be a major issue. Choose the one which operates from Permanent Campus, if you still not satisfied. All the BEST for Your Son's Bright Future.
