My period was supposed to come on 2nd but it came on 4th until 10th of January, I was supposed to get my period again on 31st of January but till today not yet whwt could be the problem plzz answer me

Ans: Yes, taking the I-pill can cause delayed periods or irregular bleeding in the following 2 or 3 menstrual cycle. The I-pill is an emergency contraceptive pill that contains a high dose of hormones that can disrupt your menstrual cycle.
But it is advisable to do pregnancy test by serum beta hcg blood test or home pregnancy kit test to rule out pregnancy.
Since you are 44 years, there is possibility of hormonal imbalance.
It is advisable to visit your nearby gynae to rule out other causes if delayed menses by certain hormonal blood test or ultrasound .
