I have black spots on my tooth?what Causes it and how my tooth gets clean from these darkspots and also suggest any good tooth paste for daily use?

Ans: Hello
Black spots on teeth could be attributed to a variety of causes. Certain foods and beverages (like tea, coffee, cola drinks or even iron supplements) may leave stains on your teeth. And they're generally not permanent or cause for concern. Professional cleaning (Scaling & polishing) by a dentist followed by good oral hygiene can get rid of these. Stains caused by paan, tobacco, gutkha are harder to eliminate.
A more worrisome cause for spots could be tooth decay.
The treatment for black spots on your teeth will therefore depend on the cause. Kindly consult your dentist who will first identify the cause and then treat you accordingly.
Please use a toothpaste manufactured and marketed by a reputed company. The ingredients of most popular tooth pastes are standard except for colour and flavour. Please remember your brushing technique and frequency of brushing are more important than which brand of toothpaste you use.
