Which one should I prefer 1. Vit Vellore CSE (main campus) 2.Manipal CSE (main campus) 3.Thapar institute CSE (main campus)

Ans: Dear Yash,

Please AVOID Manipal due to some reasons like atmosphere etc. Not advisable. If you are from Northern India, Thapar is highly recommended as it is better than VIT-Vellore.

Whatever Institute / University & Branch you choose, you should keep upgrading your skills from your 1st year itself till your Campus Placement during your last year, from NPTEL, Internshala etc. and / or any other online platforms, recommended by your College Faculties, to be COMPETENT among other Students.

I have purchased a residential studio unit with home loan for 23 lacks in March 2022, I have got possession in May 2024 and in Aug2024 I have sold this unit to 31 lacks, What will be capital gain tax implications? Can I have claim Renovation, Maintenance, NOC charges (while selling) to be included while considering capital gain, can we reduce capital gain using those?, Where should i invest to save capital gain?

Ans: Date of possession will be considered as date of acquisition (May 24) so this will be short term capital gain taxable as per your slab rate.

Improvement & transfer expenses may be deducted from your capital gain(8L) but do consult a CA to ascertain exactly what is allowed as deductible as per IT laws.

I have a term plan for life insurance. now my question is since the term plan insurance has lengthier PPT, I am planning to create a corpus to generate income to meet my annual insurance premium and to invest the amount in Mutual Fund. Now, my question is should I invest the amount in better performing dividend fund to get annual dividend, to meet term insurance commitment or should I invest in Growth Fund. If I invest in growth fund my withdrawal will be in small percentange or I have to invest more if it is a dividend fund I can invest less and earn more, this will save the premia commitmente pinching my pocket. Say for eg. 18000 annual premia commitment, I can invest Rs.2.5 lacs in dividend fund for 30 years. (and forget this 2.5 lacs) in case of survival, I will not get anything from term plan but this corpus will get me a good lump sum after 30 years. please suggest me to go with which fund - growth fund or dividend fund.?

Ans: I do not recommend dividend (IDCW) funds to fulfill need of regular payouts because their is no assurance about it.

If you invest this amount lumpsum in an equity fund with growth plan then your corpus after 30 years could grow to ~1 Cr. (~13% return considered).

Therefore I recommend you go with the growth fund.

You would need corpus of 15 Cr at 70 years which can provide you post tax(30% bracket) income of 4.8L.(Annuity rate of 5.5% considered).

Hi i am xxx. I am 24 years old and i have completed my graduation at 20 and haven't done any job,studies or any exam preparation for last 4 years and now that i look back i realise i have wasted 4 precious years of my youth .Now i am thinking to prepare for ssc exams to attempt it in next year but i am very stressed that wheather i am also wasting this year in this preparation and should try for a private job to get some job experiance but my parents wants me to do something good with my life and i want to make them proud .I am a girl so i don't have much time left to focus on my carrier at most next 2 years then i have to get married .What should i do???? please help me because i am getting really stressed about it and feel like there is no meaning of my life

The one knows what are his /her strengths and weakness or what he/she has plans for future , cant be called ignorant . You are only 24 and entire career is open for you . Once you decide and try with utmost sincerity , Clearing SSC exams will not be difficult. You will get advantages also being a girl . nce you are through , all negativities will vanish . As far as Your marriage is concerned , Now a days girls marry only after they feel confident of their life and career so Dont worry , concentrate on SSC exams.

Ans: Dear Mr. Dilip Many a times , just for trivial financial gain , we commit blunder and chage the track almost 180degree and then find themselves at point of no return. It is fact AI has its advantages and disadvantages . Job losses are apprehended due to use of AI Tools in editing and many generative fields requiring expertise whereas AI ChatGPT etc can perform those tasks in Minutes . Nevertheless , I will suggest you to learn some relevant AI courses to upgrade you skills or else get back to Auditing , starting from Good accoutning firm or other companies in the field of accounts/ commercial/ Stores / SCM / Logistics and then you can go for SAP SD / MM/Fico like courses to upskill yourself.
