Which college is a better choice for CSE between SSN and IIIT DM kancheepuram considering placements too

Ans: For CSE, SSN College of Engineering and IIITDM Kancheepuram are both strong choices, but SSN consistently offers higher placement rates and a broader recruiter base. SSN’s CSE placement rate has been 98–99% over the last three years, with top recruiters like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and Deloitte, and a strong alumni network supporting internships and higher studies. The average package for CSE at SSN is competitive, and the college is known for its industry-oriented training and campus culture. IIITDM Kancheepuram’s CSE placement rate for 2025 is around 53% (39 out of 73 eligible students placed as of January 2025), with an average package of ?9–13 lakh and a highest package of ?31–32 lakh, but the overall placement percentage has dropped in the latest cycle. While IIITDM offers strong academic rigor and government institute status, SSN’s consistently higher placement rates, stronger industry links, and proven CSE outcomes make it the better choice. The recommendation is to prefer SSN College of Engineering for CSE, especially if placements and industry exposure are your top priorities. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!
