My son is studying in polytechnic diploma mechanical engineering, he wants do his bachelor's in germany . Is this possible

Ans: Hello Gopinath,

First and foremost, thank you for getting in touch with us. I am happy to hear that your son is currently pursuing his diploma in Mechanical Engineering and then wishes to pursue his Bachelor’s degree in Germany. To answer your question first, I would like to tell you that on completing his diploma, it is definitely possible for your son to further pursue his Bachelor’s in Germany. The higher education system in Germany is well-regarded and you would be glad to know that many English-taught programs are offered by a number of German universities for international students to pursue.

Your son will be required to adhere to specific prerequisites, which entails demonstrating his ability to speak in the English language through appearing for tests viz., the TOEFL or IELTS, meeting certain educational criteria, as well as obtaining a student visa to study in Germany. In addition, remember that in order to make sure that his diploma degree is equivalent to German qualifications, your son may have to go through a recognition procedure. Moreover, to learn about their prerequisites for admission and the processes, I would suggest that he conducts an all-round study as well as gets in touch with his preferred universities.
