Sir ece/cse which is better

Ans: Kavya, Prefer CSE. ECE is also good. Core Companies will be less for ECE, compared to CSE. However, some Software / IT Companies prefer even ECE Students (during Campus Placement) who are academically good, have additional Certifications in Software, involved in Co/Extra-Curricular Activities & have a Professional LinkedIn ID. Sir, I had my Class 12 board exams, but I am not sure whether I will pass Physics and Chemistry because I am getting around 18 marks in each. Sir, can I get 5 grace marks in each subject? I have calculated the maximum marks I can get, and it comes to around 18. Sir, if I fail, can I appear for National Institute of Open Schooling this year itself? My main aim is to do a B.Tech from a local college. I got 80 percentile in my first attempt and will likely get a similar score in Session

Ans: Soham, you can take the NIOS test, but you must score at least 75% or be in the top 20% (including NIOS). Also, keep in mind that if you get an 80 percentile, you won't get good NITs, IIITs, or GFTIs in any branch other than the one you want. Should this year not go as planned, please prepare for the JEE and consider taking it again next year. You should also try to improve your score in NIOS and JEE. Instead of just relying on JEE/JoSAA Counseling, though, have backup plans with 4–5 private engineering colleges. All the BEST for Your Prosperous Future!

Ans: Yes, you can study Class 11–12 again on your own and appear for JEE Main and JEE Advanced; the 75% marks rule matters mainly at the time of admission, not for taking the exams.

Ans: Before I answer your question, Vikas Sir, I want to ensure that your daughter doesn't spend more than 45 minutes a day on her phone or other electronic devices. If your daughter becomes addicted, she risks eye strain, headaches from blue light, poor posture, weight gain from inactivity, sleep issues from late-night use, and eating problems. It can also hurt her mind by making her depressed and anxious (27% more likely), making it difficult to concentrate and study, making her feel lonely and isolated from less real interaction, making her feel low self-esteem from comparison traps, and making her stressed and irritable from dopamine crashes.

Even if both parents work, keep communication open to boost her confidence—know what she loves. She should study 4-5 hours daily using NIOS books/SWAYAM and Class 10 mocks with the Pomodoro technique (25-30 mins study, 5-10 mins break) to stay focused. Add 30 minutes of skills like coding/typing or Duolingo English if interested, plus 10 minutes of yoga, hobbies (gardening/cooking/drawing/poems), and walks/cycling for fitness and fun. Finally, join NIOS WhatsApp groups for doubts and help at home and track weekly goals with rewards. Don't force anything—let her choose what excites her most! Career in Marine Biology and Ecology is promising career. There are some countries like you mentioned in your question; Australia is a world leader in marine science. Australia give you finest study in ocean habitats and coral reefs, whereas Canada and the USA give cold-water marine ecosystems.
Now come to your question, your daughter should choose country as per her specialization as Australia for tropical coral, Canada for cold water biodiversity & USA having both mixture of Normal biodiversity and cold water biodiversity.

Ans: Yes, CBSE PCB + NIOS Maths is the same as PCM for getting into engineering colleges. You can apply if you pass the exam or interview. NIOS marksheet adds to CBSE for Math and is accepted by JEE, MHT-CET, and most colleges (like PICT Pune). No problems with two mark sheets, provided you meet the other eligibility criteria. I understand that you are having anxiety and you feel insecure in this situation but if your husband ia saying that it was a casual talk and you have not confronted him before this then I think you should give him another fair chance with trust and you should not feel it a cheating. Try to spend some more quality time with him. You will see changes soon.
