No, I don't think you should regret your decision.

Here are the reasons:

1. Right now, it’s relatively easy to secure a job in the government sector.

2. Government positions for Ayurvedic and Siddha doctors are now considered equivalent to drug inspectors, and this can be achieved without having to take exams, which is not the case for Allopathy practitioners.

3. Upon completing your course, besides clinical practice, you also have opportunities in the industry. There is a demand for Ayurvedic and Siddha doctors to start their own pharmaceutical companies.

Heyy , I got 460 in neet 2025 it was my 2nd drop. I got selected for bsc radiology in ims bhu but my heart wants to pursue medical courses that give me prefix of doctor,so I am thinking to choose bds or bams from government college.. If I drop out from bhu after few months of joining when I get a government dental/bams college then bhu will take penalty fees or not from me?? Plz answer I am really confused. Also tell me which is better bds or bams .. I also got 456 rank in icar , so I can get good agriculture college easily, but I am confused,plz help , plz

I believe that pursuing a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) is a better option. A Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is also a promising choice. With either qualification, you can become an entrepreneur; for instance, you could start your own herbal or Ayurvedic pharmaceutical company or join an existing one.

Both options depend on your location and preference. You could also consider agriculture, but it’s important to think about the job placements in that field.

So, my recommendation is to go for the dental program.

Ans: Yes. It is a good option, provided you gain admission to a reputed private college where the faculty is good and there is a chance for OPD.

Ans: ECE at Saveetha has good infrastructure and a flexible learning system, but core ECE placements are average, and faculty quality is mixed. Ans: Preference order may be: Production @ NIT Trichy > Mechanical @ NIT Calicut > CSE @ VIT, unless he is strongly focused only, and you are comfortable with the fee structure.

Ans: For better career flexibility and placements, Electrical @ Tier-2 NIT is generally a better choice than lower IIT core branches unless you strongly prefer the IIT tag or plan for non-core/government exams. The final decision will be yours.

Ans: Chances with top colleges are almost nil. Try with newer or lower-tier colleges during later rounds. But you keep an alternative option ready as a backup. More practical advice is to choose a decent private college with the preferred branch and take admission via the management quota if finance is not the main concern.

I got 85 marks in COMEDK. What all colleges can I get with that, considering I want to pursue ece vlsi or ece or aerospace only. Also, I'm from Chandigarh, so I don't have HS quota. Additionally I'm getting metallurgy and civil at PEC, Electronics at Thapar (but it's too costly) and ece at CCET, sector 26 Chandigarh. Which of these, and the clgs I can get via COMEDK, are the best options considering my main focus is chip designing for military missiles and air crafts and I want to prepare for GATE and go for Mtech so placements aren't a big deal for me. My main concern is that the teaching quality and labs should be good and help me in case I also want to get a PhD in future... I'd be really grateful if you could rank them please...

Ans: Try ECE at BMSIT, NMIT, or CMRIT, or aerospace at DSCE/SJCE. Among your current choices, PEC-Punjab Engineering College (Metallurgy/Civil) has the strongest long-term academic brand, but for your VLSI/chip-design + GATE/PhD goal, prefer Thapar if fees are manageable; otherwise, Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology (ECE) is the most practical choice.

Ans: For a female candidate focused on overall career prospects, coding culture, placements, and brand value, Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women CSE is generally preferred over M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology CSE. But if you are inclined towards MSRIT, it is also an excellent choice. Practical advice: Choose the one that is nearer to your hometown to reduce upcoming expenses.
