I received joining letter from TCS in September 2024 due to incompletion of the course i rescheduled it and now it's been 6 months still didn't received any joining letter from TCS what should I do

Ans: Hello Amulya.
As early as possible, you reach out to your TCS HR representative to inquire about the status of your onboarding and request an update on your joining date either by email or by telephone conversation, if you know the contact number. You mentioned that you did not complete the course when you received the joining letter. Have to informed TCS that you have completed the course on time? If not, please inform them earliest. Even after informing to HR TCS in this regard, and after rescheduling, if you are not getting any response, then consider escalating the issue to a higher authority within TCS HR.
Here are a few suggestions- (1) Send a professional email politely requesting an update on your joining date and the reason for the delay. (2) Clearly mention your original joining date, the reason for rescheduling, and the current date. (3) Log in to the TCS career portal to see if there are any updates regarding your onboarding process. (4) Keep continuous follow-up with the HR team without irritation.
If satisfied, please like and follow me.
If dissatisfied with the reply, please ask again without hesitation.
Thanks.

Hello, sir is it any rule or act in india government that private limited company doesn't give me joining letter or confirmation latter since 8 month to take action against company? They didnt give me any letter and they terminated so it is possible to give action against company?
Ans: Kinu,

You have NOT mentioned (a) Nature of Industry/Company you worked with (b) what was your Designation/Your Nature of Work & (c) Why you were terminated/Reasons for Termination?

To move to Labour Court, you should have an Appointment Letter (or) Pay-Slips (or) Show-cause Notice (or) Termination Letter (or) any other Document Proof like PF/ESIC Account Number (if applicable to you) etc. to prove in the Labour Court that you had been working there for 8-months. If NOT, you cannot move to Labour Court.

My suggestion (based on my Experience & having worked in HR-Administration Department in Delhi/Muscat/Chennai) :

(a) It is better to move ahead with another job without moving to Labour Court against the Company.

(b) You can move to Labour Court if you have worked for more than 3-years and have incurred a heavy financial loss of PF (if not remitted by the Company to EPFO or Gratuity (if worked for 5-or-more years) or any other dues outstanding for more than a year.

(c) As you have worked just for 8-months, it is not at all good or advisable to move to labour court for your future.

(d) To the extent possible, avoid disputes with any Company you work with, why because, when you search for jobs with another company, most of the companies conduct 'Antecedent Verification' i.e. verifying about the candidates who have applied for the job in their company. They might call the HR Department/Current Reporting Seniors to know about the candidate and/or write mail to get their feedback.

(e) Let us assume, they do not conduct any 'Antecedent Verification' and you get offer from another company. The new employer will ask for copies of documents which might include your Appointment Letter, Copy of Latest Pay-Slips, Confirmation Letter, Relieving Letter, NO Dues Certificate etc. You will have to approach your current employer for some of the documents, especially Relieving Letter.

If you had not had good relationship with the Current Employer, it will be much difficult for you to get even a Relieving Letter from the past employer(s) & join a new company. Copy of which all documents will be demanded by new employer depends upon its HR Policy/Nature of Work.

(f) Also please note, if the new employer comes to know that you had moved to Labour Court against your past employer, current employer will start enquiring about the same from you and / or from your past employer. From then, problems will start for you from the current employer also which can be (some illustrative examples): Transferring you to some other department, Laying you Off, Withdrawing Increments/Bonus etc.

In future, when you join a new company, ask for an Appointment Letter (even if it is a small company).

I hope I have clarified your doubt(s).

All the BEST for Your Bright Future.

My daughter Passed out 9.5gpa and was offered job with TCS and Tech Mahindra almost few weeks apart from each other in the month of July end 2024 and offer was given for TCS in July first week and Tch Mahendra in end July, but tech Mahindra followed up with Joining letter immediately, but my daughter choosed TCS it has been three months since but no Joining letter received,2weeks back was asked to attend an exam which she undertook ,why so much delay by TCS? Was it a wrong decision to let go off Tech Mahindra?Pls reply also suggest what to do now? should we wait or look out elsewhere?
Ans: Yes. Certainly it was a wrong decision. A bird in hand is worth than two birds in bush. She must have accepted the offer of Tech Mahindra, After selection why TCS is again taking test? This is not ethical. But now if she approaches Tech Mahindra probably she won't get a response. So try elsewhere. Mind that DECISION DECIDES DESTINY. If your decision is wrong you are bound to fail. So no more lamenting over the spilt milk. In future take correct decision. Secondly her GPA is too high. Many times organizations don't select very high GPA candidates, because their stability becomes a question mark. Due to very high GPA they never become satisfied with any job. They always think they are underpaid and deserve more. Please keep one thing in mind once you join a job your GPA becomes dead, then your performance will decide your future prospects. Just follow me. Best of luck to her. GOD BLESS HER. Professor................:)

Sir i want to know how can I manage my time because I have coaching of about 1:25 to 8:15 along with this i want to revise 11th and current study revision with test series
Ans: Irfan, To make the most of limited study time around your 1:25 pm–8:15 pm coaching block, adopt a structured daily routine that blends new learning, revision and regular mock testing. Begin your day with a short, high-intensity review: Wake by 6:00 am and spend 60 minutes revising the previous day’s weakest topics in Physics, Chemistry or Maths, using concise note-cards and formula sheets. After breakfast, allocate 8:00 am–1:00 pm to focused school-and-coaching homework: divide this into alternating 45-minute study sprints (Pomodoro technique), interspersed with 5-minute active breaks to sustain concentration. During your 1:25 pm–8:15 pm coaching, please consider each session as a mini-lecture: make clear margin notes and highlight concepts for focused self-study. From 8:30 pm to 10:30 pm, dedicate two blocks: first (60 minutes) to immediately revise new coaching material, and second (30 minutes) to solve a mini-test of 10–15 questions drawn from your test-series schedule. Reserve 10:30 pm–11:00 pm for light conceptual review before sleep; this “pre-sleep recall” enhances retention. Weekends should emphasize full-length mock tests under timed conditions, followed by detailed error analysis to refine your test strategy and time allocation. Maintain at least seven hours of sleep and include short physical activity breaks to optimize cognitive function and avoid burnout.

recommendation Craft your personal timetable around these principles—early-morning revision, Pomodoro-driven self-study, immediate coaching follow-up, and disciplined mock-test practice—to ensure comprehensive coverage of 11th-grade material and January JEE Main readiness, while steadily building towards May/June JEE Advanced. All the BEST for Admission & a Prosperous Future!

Marriage counsellor - Answered on Jul 11, 2025

Relationship
I've been facing a recurring issue in my marriage that's beginning to affect both my peace of mind and our trust. Whenever I go out with friends especially if we're having drinks my wife constantly calls or messages to check on my whereabouts. Even though I always tell her the truth about where I am, who I'm with, and when I'll be back, she still seems suspicious and uneasy. For instance, just last week I was out with two of my old college friends at a restaurant, and she called me multiple times within two hours, asking if I was really with them and when I planned to return. I could sense from her tone that she didn't fully believe me, even though I wasn't doing anything wrong. This has happened several times before, and every time I try to explain, she either changes the topic or says, "You men always hide something." I understand the importance of transparency in a relationship, and I've always tried to be honest with her. But I'm beginning to feel like I'm being micromanaged or doubted for no reason. It's not just about a night out - it's about trust and space. I'm worried that her insecurity might lead to bigger trust issues down the line. How should I deal?
Ans: Hello sir. I understand your situation. This is a serious issue that your wife is not trusting you or she has some suspicion towards you. Well, just review weather was there any reason to be suspicious? Not now may be in past? And if not so then ask your wife directly that what has caused these changes in her nature? May be she has a friend who is going through the same trust issues and due to which she is also being suspicious. You have to find out that very patiently. Once you ll know the reason things will be easier and will get sorted out. I hope this helps
Take care

Is doing btech agriculture from pantnagar is worth it ? Does it will be beneficial in future for me in case of jobs
Ans: Kanishka, Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture & Technology’s B.Tech in Agricultural Engineering is delivered by a NAAC-accredited, ICAR-A-grade, AICTE-approved institution with UGC recognition and NBA-accredited departments, ensuring academic rigor and national credibility. The College of Technology features over 30 specialized laboratories—including farm machinery, irrigation, soil and water conservation, and post-harvest processing labs—alongside ongoing smart-classroom and instrumentation upgrades to support contemporary teaching and research. Placement outcomes demonstrate robust employability, with 75% of UG students placed in 2024, 520 out of 697 graduates securing roles through the central placement cell; median packages reached ?5.75 LPA for four-year programs and ?6 LPA for five-year courses, with leading recruiters such as Reliance Retail, Accenture, PepsiCo, ICICI, and L&T visiting campus. Agriculture remains pivotal to India’s GDP and food security, and emerging domains—precision farming, agritech startups, digital marketplaces, and climate-smart agriculture—are creating 60,000–80,000 new roles over the next five years in AI development, supply-chain management, and sustainable solutions, with agritech projected to exceed USD 24 billion by 2025. To stay competitive, graduates should pursue continuous upskilling through certifications in precision agriculture, data analytics, and biotechnology; engage in internships with research centres and agritech firms; participate in hackathons and field projects; and leverage digital agriculture platforms and professional networks for lifelong learning and innovation.

Recommendation: Given its comprehensive accreditation, cutting-edge infrastructure, consistent placement record, and alignment with future agritech trends, the recommendation strongly endorses B.Tech Agricultural Engineering at GBPUAT Pantnagar for sustained career growth and industry readiness.
