I have passed cbse class 12 board with 64.6% I want to increase my marks as 75% req in jee I want to know about Cbse private candidate Will I am eligible for paper as private candidate and do I have to give practicals again and other things which I have done earlier in. Class 12 th

Ans: You can appear as a CBSE Private Candidate for improvement. Usually, you need to give practicals again only if you change subjects or your practical marks are not carried forward. If you do not change the subjects, there is no need to do the practicals again. Instead of CBSE, consider NIOS, as results are released earlier and the risk of wasting a year is reduced.

Sir i have pcb in my 12 as regular candidate in cbse if I gave maths as additional subject as private candidate in cbse only maths exam am I eligible for jee mains and advanced and get admission in iits and sir , I passed class 12 in 2025 but if I give maths as additional exam then I will passed in 2026 then which year I will choose to fill the jee form and how many attempts I will give jee advanced

Here is a pointwise reply to your question:
(1) You are eligible to appear for JEE (Mains) 2025
(2) If you get cut-off percentile in JEE (Main), you are eligible for JEE (Adv) 2025
(3) If you crack JEE (Adv), you will get admission to IIT
(4) You appear for Mathematics this year to save your full year.
(5) No need to take a drop only for mathematics.
(6) You try almost 2 attempts for JEE. If you do not succeed in the crack, do not take a chance on the 3rd attempt.

(1) You are eligible to appear for JEE (Mains).
(2) Even if you do not appear for JEE (Main), then at least you appear in your state-level engineering entrance examination. If you score high, you may get a seat in Govt Engineering College; if you score less, you can be admitted to any pvt college for B.Tech.

I am a Class 12 CBSE student. This year I got compartment in Chemistry and I will be appearing for the compartment exam in July. I wanted guidance about my options if I decide to appear for Class 12 again next year as a CBSE private candidate. I have a few doubts: 1. What is the procedure for applying as a private candidate for reappearing in Class 12? 2. How are exam centres allotted for private candidates? 3. What happens to practical/internal marks while reappearing? 4. If I score 75%+ next year and appear for JEE, will colleges consider me a normal eligible candidate? 5. Will I need to show this year’s marksheet/compartment result as well, or will the improved marksheet be enough? 6. Can this year’s compartment affect admission eligibility later if I improve next year? I’m trying to understand whether preparing seriously for next year is a safe option for JEE eligibility.

Ans: Yes, reappearing next year is a valid and safe path for JEE eligibility if you improve your score properly. It would be better to contact the administrative office in charge of your school/college for your queries as early as possible. All your queries are based on the CBSE exam, and the school administration is the only one capable of answering you officially with updated information.

Hello Sir, My son has Amrita AEEE rank of 2200 and Jee Mains percentile of 98.08. We have home state quota for Amrita Coimbatore. What are his chances of getting CSE/CSE(AI)/CSE(Cyber Security) in slab 1?

Ans: Balu Sir, At AEEE rank 2200 + JEE Main 98.08 percentile + Coimbatore home-state, chances are very good for Coimbatore CSE-related branches, but Slab 1 is not guaranteed because Amrita says allotment depends on rank, preferences, applications and CSAP, with no fixed cutoff.

Based on recent trends: Coimbatore CSE Core – possible but Slab 1 borderline. CSE-AI – good possibility. CSE-Cyber Security—good/strong possibility. Earlier Coimbatore CSE closing was around 1813 open / 13801 state, supporting your home-state advantage. Have backup options of Bengaluru/Amritapuri CSE, Coimbatore ECE, CCE/AI-related branches. You can try IIIT Kalyani, IIIT Agartala, IIIT Bhagalpur, IIIT Manipur, IIIT Senapati, IIIT Kottayam, IIIT Ranchi, IIIT Raichur through JoSAA/CSAB. As far as ECE chances are concerned, you can try for IIIT Kalyani, IIIT Surat, IIIT Bhopal, IIIT Kottayam, IIIT Una, and newer NITs/NE states via CSAB. Have 4-5 other private college backups. Hi My son got 80 PR in JEE mains and 74.2% in boards and he is thinking of tacking drop. He is appearing for improvement exam of CBSE to score 75 aggregate and optimistic of scoring 95 PR+ in Jee with drop. Shall we take decision of drop as in 2025 both attempts he score 80 and 76 PR respectively. He got VIT rank of 43500 or shall he take addmission in VIT.

Ans: Dear , Many a times students those who fail to get the expected percentile in their board exams prefer to drop the crucial exams like JEE.
Taking admission in the trade which doesn't match your son's choice in VIT can be frustrating. Pl talk to your son and then take the decision.
