Sir I passed 12th this year but i failed in maths ( overall passed ) , but for btech i need maths passed somehow , and the main thing that i did is that i forgot to fill for compartment exam by cbse and now dates and everything is gone , if i go for it then i have to wait one more year as its my drop year , now i am thinking to go for nios ode for 3 subjects i.e, PCM so that i can get admission in pvt colleges for btech , but i am if i give pcm exam from nios , will jee accept my 2 marksheets? One from cbse in which i am overall passed but re attempt in maths and other from nios in which i have given pcm?

It is never a good idea to mix insurance and investment. Best would be to discontinue it immediately, take your money and invest in mutualfunds. Net LIC returns are never more than 5% annual, less than even a simple FD.

And for life cover, take a proper term insurance plan with no riders.
