For JoSAA, at OBC 32,618, expect mainly lower-demand branches in mid/lower NITs, IIITs and GFTIs, not CSE/IT in top institutes. My recommendation: SGSITS ETC/IT first, then good MP colleges like IET-DAVV/JEC, while keeping JoSAA + CSAB as backup. With a 76 percentile, CRL around 3,80,524, and OBC rank approximately 1.37 lakh, your chances in regular JoSAA rounds for NITs and most IIITs are very low. Yes sir I have applied for cet gave the examination but to be honest I don't think I will score much as if I lack in speed solving and maths and sir I didn't register for any other exams it was jee and cet only these 2

Ans: I’m surprised these are the only two options you’re considering. You should try registering with some private engineering colleges in Maharashtra using your Board or JEE scores—especially if your parents can support the fees or if there are scholarships available for SC category students.

Also, take some time to think about which domain or branch truly interests you. Keep in mind that for almost all engineering branches, having at least an above-average level in Mathematics is important. If you’re not confident in math, you might want to explore alternative undergraduate programs that align better with your interests and strengths.
