Sir actually I did 2 mistakes while filling jee mains form... 1. I skipped my middle name while writing candidates name but my marksheet as well as adhar card shows my full name that is name along with middle name. 2. I did mistake while writing my address(I didn't write my building name). Will it cause any problem during details checking in examination hall...is yes what should I do to correct it please help
Ans: Hello.
(1) If your Aadhar card is verified at the time of form filling, then there is no need to worry.
(2) There is no problem even if you have forgotten to write the name of the building.
(3) You will not face any problems when entering the examination hall.
(4) Please follow all the guidelines laid by NTA before entering the examination hall.
(5) Even if you feel very insecure, file a separate application to NTA via email mentioning the mistakes you made in the application form. Carry the printout of this forwarded email with you at the examination center. If there is any problem, show it to the respective center head.

Note: It is sad to hear that students who are preparing for the JEE examination make simple mistakes in application forms. It is highly recommended that you download the brochure for the JEE examination and read it very carefully to avoid silly mistakes in the future.

JEE Mains 2025: Application Correction Window Opens On November 26: During the JEE Main rectification window, students can amend the information on their application form, such as address, paper details, category, photo, signature, and exam city preference. Applicants cannot change their name, mobile number, or email address. The correction period is only for 2 days i.e. 26th and 27th Nov

Respected sir, I did mistake in my neet application form. They meintioned candidates name and written only my name (instead of my full name)as next column was of father's name and i got confused.i didnt thought that would be a problem, but i got to know full name is important so i tried correcting it as i didn't submitted my form, but it was not allowing me to edit it. And now my form is submitted. My photo also contains my full name ,my adhar card is updated and verified successfully. The only major problem i made is not writting my full name. The update regrading correction window has came ,and there is no option in correcting candidates name. Will i suffer on exam day ? What should i do now. I know i made a mistake, but what should i do?
Ans: Hi
Don't worry too much — you're definitely not alone. Many NEET applicants go through this kind of issue.
Here's what’s in your favor:
Your Aadhaar is verified – which means NTA has matched your details with your official ID. That's already a big validation point.
Your photograph contains your full name – this further supports your identity.
Your mistake is only about not writing the full name – it's a common confusion, especially when forms have the "Father's Name" right next to "Candidate's Name".

what can you do?
Carry extra documents on exam day:
Original Aadhaar Card (with full name)

A notarized affidavit stating that both names (short and full) refer to the same person. It can be done in 1–2 days at your local notary.
If possible, carry a school ID or 10th certificate with full name too.
