The KCET exam is based on the Karnataka 1st and 2nd PUC (Class 11 and 12) curriculum and includes subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. The exam consists of 60 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) per subject, with each subject allotted 80 minutes. The content focuses 60% on 2nd PUC topics and 40% on 1st PUC topics, and there is no negative marking.

Subject-Wise Syllabus Highlights:

Physics: Mechanics, Thermodynamics, Waves, Electrostatics, Magnetic Effects, Optics, and Modern Physics. A new unit on Experimental Skills has been introduced, which includes recent changes in Experimental Science for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

Chemistry: Physical, Organic, and Inorganic Chemistry, covering Chemical Bonding, Thermodynamics, Equilibrium, and Redox Reactions.

Thank you for the compliment. The NEET exam is conducted by the National Authority. A very small percentage of admissions will happen through the central level, while the remaining will take place at the state level.

Why is this? It's quite challenging to conduct everything at the central level, so they have divided the admissions into two categories: 85% for the respective state and 15% for the All India Quota (AIC), which is based on rank.

Yes, you must register; otherwise, the government won't know if a particular candidate is interested. The state will announce the registration dates, which may start either at the end of June or in July (exact dates will be confirmed by them).

If you are eligible and want to participate in the counseling process, you need to register online. After registration, there will be document verification for your domicile, category, rank, etc. Based on your score, you can select your preferred colleges and courses, after which seat allotment and final reporting will take place.

Similarly, you must register for the All India Quota (AIQ). For this, you need to register on the MCC website for AIQ.

Thanks for your response. I had consulted a psychiatrist few years back but her prescibed medicines did not help. My wife used to feel sleepy and her hands used to go numb. Also the doctor had prescribed a shock treatment which I did not agree. Nevertheless I will again go for an experienced doctor for couple therapy together. My wife does not like even when we consult female doctors. I stay in Thane, Maharashtra, do you recommend any MALE doctors in this place who I can approach. Please advise & Thanks once again !

Money should not be the primary criterion for your decision, even though it is an important factor. For LKG, we are paying over a lakh, but is it worth it? Obviously not. The same consideration applies in this case. Before joining the course, you should consider the following:

1. Is the candidate truly interested?
2. What is the quality of the infrastructure, faculty, library, and other basic requirements to complete the course?
3. How does this campus compare to others, such as Vellore?

If your ward is considering a career in medicine or engineering, opting for PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology) is a better choice than just PCB (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) alone. This path will offer more opportunities and help avoid future challenges in pursuing engineering.

PCMB provides a wider range of options compared to PCB. If he chooses PCB, entering the engineering field may prove to be more difficult.

For PCB, there are primarily two pathways to consider:

**With NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test):**
- MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery)
- BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery)
- BVSC (Bachelor of Veterinary Science)
- AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, and Homeopathy)
- Allied Health Sciences

**Without NEET:**
- Pharmacy
- Nursing
- B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)
- All basic science streams (Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Biotechnology, Food Science, etc.)

Regarding Bioinformatics, if he is interested in this field, he can pursue it part-time or through online courses as a supplementary option. However, it is essential to note that the scope for bioinformatics is limited compared to other courses.

I wish to earn monthly amount with stress free so that it supports my family. W are family of 3 with son studying in 8th Standard. Also I have a Annuity policy from Max life which will give me a monthly income of 26000 for life.

You are getting 26k from annuity policy. Additional monthly expenses can easily be covered using your existing PF of 2.5 crores.
Can go with the below options:
1. SCSS - 30 lakhs (jointly with spouse). 8.2% interest with quarterly payout.
2. FD - 50 lakhs. Emergency net.
3. Mix of hybrid and debt mutual funds using bucket strategy for remaining 1.5 crores. Can do a monthyl SWP. This approach is tax efficient, preserves capital and grow that without any risk.
4. Keep 20 lakhs in equity mutual funds for your kid's higher education. This amount will grow substantially when he turns 18 and will take care of the expenses.

Do work with a professional to work out on this strategy.
Hence consult a professional Certified Financial Planner - a CFP who can guide you with exact funds to invest in keeping in mind your age, requirements, financial goals and risk profile. A CFP periodically reviews your portfolio and suggest any amendments to be made, if required.
