I am from NIOS Board and my marks have not yet been released, generally they release around 20 or 23rd June and the last date for marks submission for IISERs is 16 June so what should I do, will they allow me to enter and submit the marks during councelling?

Contact your school administration and ask them to acknowledge your complaint and assist you as soon as possible. Meanwhile, call the helpline number of NIOS and send them an email. Additionally, reach out to the IISER helpline and inform them via email about your issue with the NIOS marksheet. Even if they (IISER) permit you to enter the marks, the main question remains unanswered: where is the original marksheet, and from which source are you entering the marks?

Hello sir, I'm giving nios on demand exam but the dates are not available yet I think the exam will be held in July and I'll get results by September first week I want to take admission in Chennai or banglore I've given comedk but can't apply for counselling as I don't have 12th marksheet. Non of the college is accepting my admission without 12th marksheet. Will I be able to take late admission in Cse at Bangalore or Chennai after September?

Ans: Hello dear, If the seats are vacant for CSE or any branch, there is a possibility in private colleges. But according to government rules, once the counseling process ends, the admission process also closes. Therefore, review the entire counseling timetable of your state and note the last date of counseling. The situation will become clear to you naturally. Still, stay in touch with some private college administration and seek their opinion about your current situation. If they wish, they can guide you properly.

hey so i am 21 years old and i am 3rd dropper and didn't get mbbs so i want to do btech because i am a pcmb student so i want to do btech i ece from a private college a tier 3 college so then i do mtech or by clear gate i gate the psu or may be mba so from mba side i think to not take btech but take bsc in biology so it get easier compare to btech but bsc is not a profession course so it get so confusing and this 3 year gap may create a problem for me to get the placement or to get in B school i got 81 in class 12 and 96 in class 10 please give me advise

Ans: Right now the priority is to take admission in Graduation course. Take up something that you are interested in - either Engg or BSc. Even with 3 year gap it is possible to get into a goo B school. But you can take a call on that later. First focus on securing admission to your graduation course.

Ans: Your daughter can expect NIE Mysore, RNSIT, CMRIT, JSSATE, DSCE (some branches), or CSE specialisations in later rounds if some magic happens at the time of counselling due to many unknown reasons.

My son got CSE main in VIT Chennai in cat 3in second round of couselling, how do you rate as compared to VIT Vellore in placememts . Plz guide

Ans: VIT Chennai/Vellore has centralized placements, but Vellore usually attracts slightly better top recruiters, due to its older brand value. But there is no need to worry much more. Ask your son to focus more on studies and try to maintain the CGP for 4 years. Ask your son to acquire more knowledge through online courses, either on free or paid platforms, always to stay ahead of others.

I have given jee mains paper-2 and wish to do bachelors in planning from coep can you please tell me if i am eligible for admission from West Bengal and also what is the admission criteria and process for the same.

Hi My son has scored 264 in JEE advanced. We are expecting rank under 200. We live in Pune. IIT-Bombay CSE won't be possible for him but we considering IIT Madras CSE. IIT Delhi CSE or IIT Bombay ECE. We are leaning towards IIT Madras CSE mainly because 1. He likes CS 2. Madras seems safer and more spacious and healthier than IIT Delhi Do you have any suggestions on how to evaluate these options or any other option we should consider?

Ans: CSE @ IIT Madras is an excellent choice. While ECE @ IIT Bombay is better only if he is open to core electronics alongside coding.

Ans: He can hope for branches like Electrical, MnC, Engineering Physics, or lower-branch options in old IITs, and CSE and allied branches in the newer IITs.

Sir, Kindly suggest the better option between IIIT Allahabad (IT) and MNNIT Allahabad ( CSE) for admission through Jossa 2026.JEE mains CRL 5344 home state UP

Ans: Preference order may be: CSE @ MNNIT > IT @ IIIT Allahabad. Your preference order may be different for many reasons.
