Ans: Hi
If you want a disciplined lifestyle go with SSB first. That's a great option and then go for SNU or BITS.

My son got two options - BTech CSE seat at ABES Engg college, Ghaziabad or SJB Institute of Technology Bangalore Which one is better? We live in Delhi NCR and need to decided on priority
Ans: ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad, stands out for Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) with 79–90% placement rates in recent years and is accredited by NAAC (A grade), NBA, and AICTE. Top recruiters include Amazon, Microsoft, Atlassian, Google, Cisco, and TCS, with a placement ecosystem supported by skill-enhancement training, industry collaborations, and high-tech, air-conditioned classrooms, advanced computer labs, and comprehensive R&D facilities. The campus infrastructure offers central and departmental libraries, strong Wi-Fi coverage, vibrant hostel life, modern sports amenities, and proximity to Delhi NCR, easing transition and reducing living costs. Faculty are well-qualified, fostering research and student innovation. SJB Institute of Technology (SJBIT), Bangalore, also holds strong credentials—accredited by NAAC (A+), NBA, and AICTE—with a 75–90% placement rate in CSE and an 85% institute-wide rate for recent batches. SJBIT provides an industry-linked curriculum, innovative research centres recognized by VTU, and major recruiters such as TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, and Capgemini. The 13-acre modern campus features well-equipped laboratories, dynamic research cells, and extensive faculty engagement in research, alongside soft skills training and regular technical workshops. While SJBIT is recognized for career support and peer exposure in the tech-centric Bangalore ecosystem, it generally ranks as a tier-2 college with slightly lower average placement metrics for CSE and higher associated relocation costs for families based in Delhi NCR. Both institutions offer NBA-accredited CSE programs and global recruiter access, but ABES’s location, placement consistency, and strong infrastructure offer greater convenience and value for NCR residents.

Recommendation:
ABES Engineering College, Ghaziabad, is the better option for a Delhi NCR-based student, given its proximity, robust placement record, comprehensive infrastructure, and strong industry connections. SJB Institute is reputable, but ABES provides superior value and academic outcomes for CSE, minimizing relocation stress and maximizing opportunities. My Suggestion: Prefer ABES-G-CSE. All the BEST for a Prosperous Future!
