My daughter scored 491 in NEET after passing CBSE boards with 90%. She has cleared BITS for PCB (Pharmacy) and also Manipal . What is the future

I hope your daughter is not planning to retake the NEET exam. Since she has an interest in NEET, encourage her to appear and succeed. If not, she can consider studying Pharmacy. Ans: Your son has chances for ECE at newer NITs (through CSAB), at good IIITs with lower closing ranks, and at strong state colleges such as J.C. Bose University of Science and Technology, Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, and Chaudhary Devi Lal State Institute of Engineering and Technology. Private options like Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology and LNMIIT are also good for ECE if budget permits.

My daughter got 11570 in aeee exam, which branch is best to get in amrita university and also having jee mains percentile 90.20.

Ans: With AEEE rank 11,570, your daughter has a fair chance for CSE-related branches in Amrita, but Coimbatore core CSE is difficult because it is usually the most competitive. Best preference order: 1) CSE/AI at Amritapuri or Bengaluru, 2) CSE Cyber Security at Amritapuri, 3) AI/Data Science or CSE specialisations at Chennai, 4) ECE at Coimbatore/Bengaluru if she is open to software roles later. With a JEE Main 90.20 percentile, NIT/IIIT CSE is unlikely. If possible and if you wish, it is better to have 4-5 other backup options of reputed private engineering colleges/state counselling in and around your state. Ans: Sanklap Sir, At JEE Main 93.3 percentile, expected CRL may be around 95,000–1,05,000. With UP home state + General, top NIT/IIIT CSE is unlikely, but through JoSAA/CSAB he may target lower branches in NITs/GFTIs, and possibly ECE/IT-related branches in newer IIITs/GFTIs only in later/CSAB rounds. With BITSAT 202, BITS CSE/ECE/EEE/Mechanical is unlikely. Official BITS cutoffs show even 2024 Hyderabad Mechanical closed at 218, Civil 204, Chemical 207, while 2025 cutoffs rose sharply. So 202 BITS marks may be borderline only for B.Pharm or perhaps M.Sc. Biology/Chemistry if cutoffs soften, not BE core. It is advisable to have the following backup options: AKTU counselling: IET Lucknow, KNIT, BIET, JSS Noida, KIET, ABES, GL Bajaj, Jaypee Noida, plus Thapar, Manipal Jaipur, SRM/VIT (North India Campuses), and UPES for CSE/IT. Ans: Ganesan Sir, With AEEE rank 31,579, Amrita Coimbatore CSE, AI, Cyber Security, ECE and EEE are unlikely; Coimbatore is the most competitive Amrita campus. The best Coimbatore possibilities may be Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Aerospace or lower-demand branches, depending on fee slab and vacancy movement. It is advisable to have 4-5 backup options of Private Engineering Colleges in TN itself, such as SNU, Sathyabhama, Sastra, etc. All the Best for Your Son's Prosperous Future!
