Can you recommend colleges for my son with 89% in Karnataka 2nd PUC except CSE?

Hello sir my boy has got 89 percent in Karnataka 2nd PUC Board exam 72,484 rank in KCET and 48,314 in COMEDK respectively except CSE , which college and course can be preffered other than degree colleges around Bangalore

I have taken a policy from SBI Life insurance Retire Smart plan. The policy is for 10 years with a premium payment for 5 years. I have taken the policy in February 2020 and with this month 5 yearsare completed. Now, I want to come out of this. How can I come out with minimum loss.? Can I surrender or close?

Ans: Hello;

Even if you surrender now you can get 60% of your fund value, after deducting charges, and for the balance 40% you have buy an annuity from SBI Life.

This is as per terms and conditions mentioned in the brochure of this plan.

With 97.7 %tile, under OBC-NCL, female category, she may get admission in one of the NITs but not surely in Trichy. You may have to compromise the NIT and branch.

Ans: Hello Meenakshi
For the All India Quota (AIQ) in NEET, only the central OBC-NCL list is considered. If your OBC-NCL certificate is from your state but your caste is not in the central OBC list, then it will not be valid for AIQ reservations. If your caste is in both the state and central OBC lists, apply for a central OBC-NCL certificate to use it for AIQ in NEET.

Under the ST category, your son can get admission to one of the NITs. But the chances of getting AI+ML may be challenging. Hence keep other branches' options open. Best of luck to your son.
