Sir, My son got CSE at BITS Hyderabad through BITSAT, and B.Sc.+M.Sc. (2+3 years) Physics at NIT Rourkela. He also has an IAT EWS rank of 486 and is interested in the BS-MS program at IISER Pune. TGEAPCET Rank is 3343. Please suggest which option is the best.

Ans: As your Son is interested in Physics, prefer to get admission through BITSAT. Secondly, as he has also scored 99.65%, you can try for Physics with any one of the top colleges in Maharashtra (if fees comparatively lesser here & not affordable for BITS). As far as his IISER-IAT Rank is concerned, getting admission into top 2-IISERS (i.e. Pune & Kolkata) will be difficult. Have JEE-A as your last option as his rank is behind and will not get admission into any top IITs even for Physics. All the BEST for your Son's Bright Future.
