Sir my son got 75.49 aggregate percentage in diploma computer engineering What education option will be best for him

Ans: Encourage him to explore these options and choose the one that aligns best with his interests and career aspirations. His personal interests and long-term career goals should guide his choice.
1. Lateral Entry: Many universities offer lateral entry into the second year of B.E. or B.Tech programs for diploma holders. This can save a year and is a popular choice.
2. Focus on Software: If he is more interested in software development and applications, BCA is a good option. It provides a strong foundation in programming and software development.
3. Specialized Skills: He can also consider certifications in specific areas like AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, or cloud computing. Platforms like Coursera, edX, and Udacity offer such courses.
4. Work Experience: If he prefers gaining work experience, he can look for job opportunities in IT companies. Many companies value practical experience and offer further training.

My son got 89.5 percentile in jee,and got computer with cyber security in vitee vellore and also got electronics and computer engineering in Thapar, what should he persue
Ans: With an 89.5 percentile in JEE Main, your son’s rank (~1,57,500) places him outside the range for top NITs or IIITs for CSE but opens doors to reputed private universities like VIT and deemed universities like Thapar. Between the two offers—CSE with Cyber Security at VIT Vellore and Electronics and Computer Engineering at Thapar—both have strong placement records and academic reputations. VIT Vellore offers a more IT-centric curriculum with emerging specialization in Cyber Security, aligning well with future industry trends and higher average packages (~?9 LPA). Thapar provides a balanced core engineering education with solid placements (~?7-8 LPA) and a strong research environment, suitable if your son prefers a blend of electronics and computing. Considering the growing demand for cybersecurity professionals and VIT’s robust placement network, VIT Vellore’s CSE with Cyber Security is recommended for better career prospects and industry exposure. However, if your son has a keen interest in hardware or embedded systems alongside computing, Thapar is a strong alternative. Ultimately, the decision should also factor in personal preferences, campus environment, and long-term career goals. I suggest to go for THAPAR. All the best for your son's admission and a bright future!

Hello sir My rank in comedk is 33k Please suggest college options in which I can get cse and it's specialisation in later rounds of counseling
Ans: Raqi, With a COMEDK rank of 33,000, securing CSE core in top/mid-tier colleges like SJBIT Bangalore (2024 cutoff: ~20,500–22,000) or Global Academy of Technology (cutoff: ~26,500–27,000) is unlikely in early rounds, but feasible in later vacancy-driven rounds for CSE specializations (AI/ML, Data Science) at colleges like Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (cutoff: ~28,900–31,000) or Bapuji Institute of Engineering (BIET Davangere) (cutoff: ~35,000–38,000). These institutes report 70–85% placements with recruiters like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys. For CSE specializations, prioritize KLS Gogte Institute of Technology (cutoff: ~22,100–24,000) or Cambridge Institute of Technology (cutoff: ~30,800–33,000), which offer industry-aligned curricula and coding ecosystems. If seats remain unfilled, explore PDA College of Engineering (cutoff: ~35,800–36,300) or AMC Engineering College (cutoff: ~33,600–34,100) during spot rounds. For backups, consider direct admission in Sharda University or LPU via academic merit or institutional entrance exams (LPUNEST), balancing affordability and tech exposure. Confirm vacancy trends during counseling and maintain flexibility for branch upgrades. All the BEST for your Admission & a Prosperous Future!
