Sir my son got 3300+ rank in COMEDK now he wants to do aerospace engineering at Bangalore. So many calls are coming for admission like mvj dayanand Sagar but still waiting for counselling. Please guide us what to do now.

Ans: Hi Sagar, Wait for the counseling. Pvt colleges do their jobs to call the students. If you fail to get a good college in counseling, then opt for the best private college located near your home. But the decision for opting aerospace engineering will turn in to a wise decision in the future if you like it.

#My question was not answered by any of Career guru. I posted on 20 th June. can any one please attend and advise us. # Hello Sir/ Madam ; We are from Pune, Maharashtra. My son recently gave CBSE 12 th Boards and wants to pursue Engineering course. He gave IIT Mains and other private college exams like VIT , Symbiosis, Manipal, COMEDK. He has already got seat as follows - Symbiosis Pune - Btech-AIML; VIT/AP -CS with DS in category 2 and Manipal Bangalore- Electronics and Computer Engineering. MH CET percentile is 96.67 and CAP round counselling is yet to start. His COMEDK rank is 19 K , counselling yet to start. Please advise us in doing right choice for him in terms of institute and Branch considering Internship opportunities/Placement opportunities from already allocated seat/institutes. Also kindly give us insight on chances to get college/branch from MH CET and COMEDK. We are from OPEN Category .Thanks in advance !!

Ans: Prefer Symbiosis-P-AIML, followed by VIT-AP-CS-DS. As back-ups you can participate in the counselling process of both MH-CET & also COMEDK, but getting CSE with any top colleges will be difficult, though you can fill your choices. With a score of 96.95 %tile and EWS category, it will be challenging to get CSE/AI/DS in NITs. But keep a close eye on the admission process and fill the options with utmost care. At this percentile, you may get sure admission in IIITs. Pl focus more on 2nd attempt of JEE so that you can improve your score and get admission to CSE @ NIT.

CaN you list the nit in order for selection to cse group. Is trichi not in top list

With a score of 97.148 %tile and OBC-NCL category, chances are there to get admission to one of the NITs but low chances to get into tier 1 NITs.
