Can I Repeat 12th and Give Two Attempts for JEE Advanced with Low Percentage?

I have given three attempts for JEE Mains but did not give JEE Advanced. My percentage in 12th is low so can I repeat 12th and give two attempts for JEE Advanced

Ans: Hello dear.
Question- If you passed 12th in 2024, then how you appeared JEE (Mains) 3 times? I guess, 2 times in 2024 and 1 time in Jan 2025. Now it means, you have already given three attempts for JEE Mains, which means you have likely passed 12th more than two years ago. Since you didn't attempt JEE Advanced before, you cannot take it now because your eligibility period has ended. Repeating Class 12th won't reset your JEE Advanced eligibility.
But I would like to suggest: (1) Appear for the state-level engineering entrance examination (2) Take admission to a good college (3) Crack GATE in the final year of engineering and then do a PG in IIT from any prestigious institution. Even you can think of other Exams like BITSAT, VITEEE, SRMJEEE, WBJEE, COMEDK, etc.

I completed class 12 in 2024 .... I give jee mains 2024 85 percentile but I didn't qualified for jee advanced... I gave jee mains in 2025 jee mains if I didn't get qualified this year can I gave jee advanced in 2026 by clearing mains

You can attempt JEE (Mains) 3 times in 3 consecutive years after your Class 12 and You can attempt JEE (Adv) 2 times in 2 consecutive years.
Your Case:
Passed Class 12: 2024
Attempted JEE Mains in: 2024 and 2025
JEE Advanced eligibility:
You were eligible in 2024
You’re also eligible in 2025
But in 2026, you are not eligible for JEE Advanced, even if you qualify Mains

Yes. You can appear for JEE Mains in 2025 and Advanced in the years 2025 and 2026. You can appear JEE (Adv) 2 times i.e. in 2025 and 2026.

So i gave my 10th in 2022,gave 12th in 2024 but failed and again gave 12th in 2025 but it was the first time i gave jee in 2025 am i still eligible for jee advance in 2026 and 2nd i didn't get 75% criteria in 2025 but i want to give 12th again or i should just gave improvements exam

Ans: Do not think about JEE advance. Concentrate on JEE mains. JEE advance is not for common students. Be practical

Your son will get a seat in the newly formed low-tiered IITs. Chances are less for EEE and ENTC. But, electrical is also an excellent branch and take it if it is offered to you. Not possible for us to name a particular IIT. Fill out the options carefully in the counseling process.

Hello sir I am confused about my career options in 11th and 12th i studied biology for neet. I have also math in 12th. But in dropper sometimes I think to choose neet and sometimes like kon itna padhega jee kar lete hai. So mujhe kya karna chahiye aap bata skte hain please

Ans: Hello dear.
The best option for you: (1) Choose PCM subjects (2) Appear for JEE and state-level engineering entrance test, (3) Focus more on state level engineering test (4) try to Score more in it (5) Take admission to any reputed college for UG course (6) Give GATE (7) Take admission to PG (8) Join the job or start your own business. Suggestion- If very uncomfortable with science subjects, then either go with Commerce or B.A.. Both are much better options than any engineering stream.

Drop the idea of either full or partial preparation for NEET. You have already taken one drop and know how much study is required in this tough competition. It would be better to focus more on B.Tech in Bioinformatics. The course is good, has wide applications, and offers excellent job opportunities. You can give the NEET at any time as there is no upper age limit. If you crack it with the required cutoff, you can get admission to MBBS.

Given your JEE score, it may not be possible to secure a free seat for CSE. However, there are numerous private colleges in Delhi NCR where you can visit the administration office in person to inquire about the availability of the CSE branch through management quota. Additionally, consider participating in the state-level counseling process to explore options. If necessary, be open to accepting an offer in any computer-related branch if CSE is not available.

Sir,my son got 5059 rank in JEE Advance and 5438 in JEE Mains. Please give the priority order among these. IIT Ropar (ECE), IIT Bhuvaneswar (ECE), IIT Patna (ECE), NIT Warangal (ECE), IIIT B CSE. We are in big confusion whether to chose these IITs or most reputed NITW? we are from HYDERABAD.

Here is the preference order for you: (1) IIT Patna (2) IIT Ropar (3) IIIT Bhubaneswar (4) NIT Warangal (5) IIIT B CSE. There should be no confusion in choosing between IIT and NIT. Prefer IIT over NIT if your son is offered a seat there. You might be considering this from a broader perspective. No doubt, NIT Warangal can be a preferred choice compared to any IIT for you. Yet the prestige of IIT will always outweigh that of NIT. The final choice will ultimately be yours.

With the mentioned score, you have moderate or slim chances of getting a seat in any GMC with the mentioned courses. Yet do not lose hope and take active participation in the counseling process. If you are financially sound, they try in some private colleges via management quota.
