I am getting ECE at DTU, but I'm feeling disappointed because I couldn't get into an IIT. While preparing for IIT, I didn't explore other options much, so now I'm confused whether DTU is a good cholce or not. Can someone please guide me on how DTU compares to NITs in terms of placements and startup opportunities? I'm quite interested in startups and want to explore that fleld seriously.

Prefer CSE at SRM or an IIIT, if possible. Mining engineering involves extensive field work under tough and unpredictable conditions, which isn’t suitable for everyone, some spend long hours in adverse environments. The advantage of a CSE/IT path is that you’re less tied to continuous field updates and can comfortably balance periods of intense study. Ultimately, though, the decision is yours.
