Dear Sir, I filled candidate name as (name-fathername-surname) in JEE main application. 10th marksheet it is name-surname. Is it create any problem during Josaa councelling? Same name affidavit is ok to resolved query during Josaa councelling?

Ans: Hi
There should not be any issue. If they ask for an explanation during counselling, you may be required to submit an affidavit.
Because in CBSE Student's Name & Surname are printed. While in State board NAME FATHER NAME SURNAME is printed.

Hello sir, While submitting the jee mains form i put my name as with no surname cause in my adhaar card there was no surname but after filling jee mains first attempt form i updated it with as my 10th and 12th also have ... But my sc caste certificate have only ... Will it cause issue while applying for UPTAC or JOSAA or Csab

Ans: Having different name formats in your JEE Main form, Aadhaar, and caste certificate may cause verification issues during UPTAC, JoSAA, or CSAB counselling. While NTA allows some flexibility if your JEE form matches your Aadhaar and academic certificates, your SC caste certificate should ideally have the same name as your 10th and 12th marksheets. To avoid problems, try to update your caste certificate to match your academic documents before counselling. If that’s not possible, be ready to provide an undertaking and seek guidance from the admitting institute during document verification to ensure smooth admission.
