Can a electrical engineering graduate with MBA project Management apply for position of project manager in IT? What are the skills I may require?

Ans: Of course you can, especially considering you have an MBA in project Management.

If you don't have them already, you may consider obtaining project management certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 (Projects IN Controlled Environments) to enhance your credibility as a project manager.

Your MBA in project management will provide you with a strong foundation in project management principles, methodologies, and best practices. Familiarity with project management frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban would be particularly useful in the IT industry.

Hello sir, I've 12 yrs of exp in Energy & Utility(O&G,Steel & Marine factory digitalization, Renewable and Aerospace), my education qualification is B.Tech Computer science and hybrid PGDM (Marketing) from Welingkar. I've domain experience because of experience. I've completed PMP certification. I've .net development 7yrs exp and 5yrs(lead,scrum,PM) management exp, but currently I'm facing push down to lead activities instead of being PM in org- please suggest how to overcome this and how to identify opportunity role properly or how to portray strongly as management profile in interviews or work. I'm planning to do Leadership with AI course from ISB- please suggest your views.

Ans: Can do Leadership course from ISB, it could give a push up to your career. Check if they give placement opportunities. If not, check if your organization recognizes the course.

I am 66, worked in sales marketing and warehouse management for over 30 years in Southern African. Retired a year back and came to India. After sitting home for a year found it very difficult, boaring and health loosing, again felt a strong desire in me to do some work, will prefer work from home or out, for 5-6 hrs, again enabling me to spend a health enjoyable and active life. Really feeling very difficult to find a job of my caliber and liking at this age in India. Pls advice
