Sir My daughter who is domiciled in west bengal has secured 630 marks in neet 2024 and is rank is 47880. We have been told to go for State quota in pvt colleges. She has become eligible for st Xavier's college which she had to apply owing to the present ongoing fiasco. My query related to whether if there is no reneet whether it is true that with this rank she will be eligible for State quota in pvt colleges only then I have to plan for getting bank loan. ????????

Ans: Sir,
as there is no re-neet, there are fair chances for her to get admission in govt seat through AIQ & State quota in R.G KAR & Saratchandra.

Ans: Sir,
For the NEET state quota you need to appear 10th & 12th boards from the same state else you won't be eligible for any state quota. If her 10th is from UP, I would suggest 12th from same state.

My daughter studied upto 10th class in Maharashtra , she is studying cbse in 11th 12th class in Tamilnadu and going to appear for May 2025 NEET from Tamilnadu in OC category ,will she be eligible for state quota seat and what is the cut off for Govt college and self financed college she must be targeting for ??

Ans: Hello Ramesh.
To be eligible for state quota, the aspirant must clear his 12th from that state. As your daughter is appearing 12th from TN, she is eligible for the state quota. To get admission either to a govt college or the best self-financed college, she must score min 650 or above considering the present scenario and tough competition.

Sir, I am working in Gulf, my daughter will finish 12th grade with science, she will appear for NEET test here in Gulf. Because she completed 12th from outside India, she is by default in NRI quota category whatever marks she gets or she'll be eligible for Management quota. We are from Telangana state. Appreciate your answer.

Ans: Hello dear.
In MBBS seats, the quota is reserved for NRI students. Your daughter will be eligible for admission, if she cracks the exam with a high score, as there is tough competition. It is highly recommended that you opt for the seat if she gets the admission through NRI quota because, for the management quota, you have to pay a high donation which is not possible for most of the parents, If your financial situation permits you, then you can opt for it. But if your daughter scores less, she can opt for MBBS from any foreign country at a low cost compared to the management quota in India. It is good that you are thinking on alternatives at this juncture. But ask your daughter to study hard and score as high as possible. With the solid score in hand, all the problems will be eliminated and student and parent becomes worry free!

I am aged 49 with a 27 year career in IT - 21.5 years as individual contributor and rest in leadership role. In my last employment, I was asked to go after successfully executing a project; later on, I found that they hired me just for that project only. For the last 4 months, I have been applying for jobs but it looks like that my age goes against me. I have completed a four month course in AIML, learning new programming languages and keeping myself abreast with the latest trends. The differentiating aspect of my leadership is being hands-on; while the team gains confidence, my peers and leaders feel that I am being too indulgent. In some of the interviews that really went well, I was rejected as my technical capabilities seems to have threatened the incumbents. I have achieved the financial freedom and doesn't require a salary to keep the kitchen fires buring but I crave an engagement to retain my knowledge. Please guide
