My daughter is persuing B.Tech- Csc . which field of IT HAS MUCH scope in India ?

Ans: Dear Mr.Rahul

CS is an ever evolving field. Opportunity of today may not be that of tomorrow. Nonetheless I would say AI, ML, Data Science, Cyber Security...These are some of the topics that are in vogue today.

Hello Sir, My daughter is choosing B Tech in Information Technology. Can you please suggest is this is good option as she was not getting Core CSE due to her rank. There are many specialisations these days like AI, ML, Data science and cybersecurity etc., compared to these is IT a better option. Kindly advise. Many thanks.

Ans: Bhanu Madam, You have NOT mentioned in which college she has got admission for IT.

Anyway, please note, most recruiters even prefer students from IT branch along with CSE students. Only thing, your daughter should ensure is that she should keep upgrading her skills/get additional certifications online through NPTEL, Coursera, Internshala, LinkedIn etc. and / or recommended by her college faculties of IT Department.

The above will help her a lot to be competent even among the students of CSE during Campus Recruitment Drive. All the BEST for Your Daughter's Bright Future.

my daughter got 92.87% in jee mains,in ist attempt, wat is scope for CS

Ans: Hello Dear.
You did not mention the category. Considering the OC category, the chances of getting CS in NITs are less. The score for the CSE branch is bright. If your daughter is interested in the computer field, then and then only ask her to opt for it. Otherwise, choose other options.

Sir my daughter scored 73.8 in 10+2 but maths percentile is very low @ 46. She wish to appear in BITSAT. Can she be eligible if she improves her score in improvement exam to be held in July by CBSE?

Ans: Eligibility for BITS Pilani Admission:
Minimum Requirement: Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (for engineering courses) and secured at least 75% aggregate marks in these three subjects or be among the top 20 percentile in their respective board exams.

BITS also requires minimum 60% marks in each of these subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics).
Yes! If she improves her aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to 75% or above, she will meet the minimum eligibility criteria for BITSAT.
But my suggestion is to avoid engineering, because almost all streams in engineering require B.Sc. level math.
