Sir my daughter in 10th got 89% completed 12th science and got 61% HSC Maharashtra board, She gave entrance for BBA in symbiosis, Xaviers but didn't get through , she gave MHCET BBA/BMS where she got 92 percentile. How is BMS stream ,later she will do MBA. As now she is not interested in IT nor in medical stream and not interested in science field and also due to low percentage, she wants to pursue commerce field , which is better stream , BMS or Bcom or BAF

Ans: BBA or BMS are the same degree with different names. Since she wants to pursue management as a career. BMS would be preferred graduate degree as compared to BCom. She can do BAF is she is interested in Accounts, else sticking to BMS would be better.

Sir BBA is better or BMS which one , as per today market which is in demand (also BMS is old established in year 2000 so is it irrelevant) Also which are top 5 colleges in mumbai for BBA and for BMS, How is wilson college for BMS does it have good industry connect and good placements And how is BBA in Thakur College engineering and technology, kandivali, does it have placements. Also at 92 percentile which college to target for BBA and BMS ,If BMS then NM college (not NMIMS) or wilson which one is good through MH CET BBA/BMS
Ans: BBA and BMS are the same. What matters is the college you take up. Thakur should provide some placements. With 92 percentile it may not be possible to get NM.

Which is better Thakur for BBA or Wilson for BMS?
Ans: Both are similar. BMS is affiliated to Mumbai University. Thakur has a better MBA college so could have a slight advantage.

At 93 percentile if she gets Thakur for BBA and for BMS she gets NM college of commerce (Not NMIMS), and wilson college which one to prefer
Ans: NM would be the best among the three. From Wilson and Thakur can give preference to proximity.

My daughter had given NMIMS NPAT exam but her merit score was above 5000 ,so she got navi mumbai campus, but as we stay in vasai we will have yo take hostel accommodation, which will cost total around 22 lacs is it worth with low ROI and so much amount for graduation degree ,and I have heard only NMIMS Mumbai campus is only reputed and navi mumbai campus is only good for CS and Btech , should I wait for any good BMS college like NM or wilson at 93 MHCET BBA/BMS percentile.
Ans: Not worth it. NMIMS Navi Mumbai does not have a great feedback for its BBA course. Yes can take up a college through MHCET. Even a little above average college could be a better option considering distance as compared to going to Navi Mumbai. Can look at Thakur, Durgadeve Saraf, Nagindas Khandwala, MKES, etc

Which is better doing bcom in b grade college in vasai or bms from wilson or bba from nagindas, which is better for future , also is there any better tier 1 college mumbai with mhcet bba_bms 93 percentile score,
Ans: Technically it does not matter much, as you will have to do post graduation which becomes more important. But would prefer BMS from Wilson or BBA from Nagindas to get a better exposure.

Relationship
My married ex still texts me for comfort. Because of him, I am unable to move on. He makes me feel guilty by saying he got married out of family pressure. His dad is a cardiac patient and mom is being treated for cancer. He comforts me by saying he will get separated soon and we will get married because he only loves me. We have been in a relationship for 14 years and despite everything we tried, his parents refused to accept me, so he chose to get married to someone who understands our situation. I don't know when he will separate from his wife. She knows about us too but she comes from a traditional family. She also confirmed there is no physical intimacy between them. I trust him, but is it worth losing my youth for him? Honestly, I am worried and very confused.
Ans: Dear Anonymous,
I understand how difficult it is to let go of a relationship you have built from scratch, but is it really how you want to continue? It really seems to be going nowhere. His parents are already in bad health and he married someone else for their happiness. Does it seem like he will be able to leave her? So many people’s happiness and lives depend on this one decision. I think it’s about time you and your BF have a clear conversation about the same. If he can’t give a proper timeline, please try to understand his situation. But also make sure he understands yours and maybe rethink this equation. It really isn’t healthy. You deserve a love you can have wholly, and not just in pieces, and in the shadows.

Hope this helps

Career
My son will be appearing for JEE Main & JEE Advanced 2026 and will participate in JoSAA Counselling 2026. I request clarification regarding the GEN-EWS certificate date requirement for next year. I have already applied for an EWS certificate for current year 2025, and the application is under process. However, I am unsure whether this certificate will be accepted during JoSAA 2026, or whether candidates will be required to submit a fresh certificate for FY 2026–27 (issued on or after 1 April 2026). My concern is that if JoSAA requires a certificate issued after 1 April 2026, students will have only 1–1.5 months to complete the entire procedure, which is difficult considering normal government processing timelines. Also, during current JEE form filling, students are asked to upload a GEN-EWS certificate issued on or after 1 April 2025, or an application acknowledgement. This has created confusion among parents regarding which year’s certificate will finally be valid at the time of counselling. I request your kind guidance on: Which GEN-EWS certificate will be accepted for JoSAA Counselling 2026 — a certificate for FY 2025–26 (issued after 1 April 2025), or a new certificate for FY 2026–27 (issued after 1 April 2026)?
Ans: Hi
You need not worry about the EWS certificate. Even if you apply for the next year's certificate on 1 Apr 2026, the second session of JEE MAINS will still be held, followed by JEE ADVANCED, which will be held in May. JOSAA starts in June. so you will have 2 months in hand for fresh EWS certificate.
