Sir, My daughter's JEE mains - 2025 score is 97.16. Belongs to Open general category. What is the probability to get a seat for CSE in NITs?

The probability of getting a seat for CSE is there but in tier 2 NITs but surely in IIITs. Keep a close eye on the counseling process of JOSAA. Thanks

What are the best IIITs to consider? Any possibility to get a seat in CSE at NIT suratkal or IIIT ,BENGALURU AND IIIT , HYDERABAD?

Hi, My daughter got 95.76 percentile in JEE Mains 1st attempt. She is of general category. What's the chance for her to get CSE or IT in NITs. Also, please refer some best colleges to consider (Private/Govt) in south India as we are from Hyderabad

she has a decent percentile but getting CSE or IT at this percentile will be difficult. If she can improve around 3-4 percentile more then the probability of getting these branches in a good NIT or IIIT will be there. Let 2nd phase finish and then we will discuss the private & govt college of the south. Let her focus on boards & session 2 for now. All the best.

Ans: Priority: State colleges (COEP, RVCE, PSG Tech) > Private (VIT, Thapar) > Emerging (KIIT, UPES).

Hi with 98 percentile ews .but not able to renew ews certificate in Delhi what to do?

Ans: EWS certificates in Delhi are typically valid for 1 year (unless specified otherwise).

For JEE/JoSSA counselling, the certificate must be valid at the time of admission (not necessarily during the exam).

If the certificate expires before JoSAA document verification, renewal is mandatory.

Sir my son gave jee mains in 2024 alng with his 12th boards but wasnt eligible for jee adv. 2024. He gave jee mains 2025 and got eligible for hee adv. 2025. So this will be considered his 1st attempt or 2nd attempt for jee adv.

Ans: JEE Advanced Eligibility Rules state that a candidate can attempt JEE Advanced a maximum of two times in consecutive years.

Since your son was not eligible for JEE Advanced 2024 (despite appearing for JEE Main 2024), 2025 will be counted as his first attempt for JEE Advanced.

If he appears again in JEE Advanced 2026, that will be his second and final attempt.
