Sir I am confuse between two jobs plz help me .... I have been working in ssc je electrical and recently I got an offer letter from bihar bsphcl aee ... I belong to bihar but I am confuse between these two .. which job should I join???

Hi sir my daughter has 75018 rank in jee mains general category domicile mp Which college and branch can she get in mp colleges

Ans: She may get newer or lower-demand branches (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, ECE) in later rounds at state GFTIs/private govt colleges like SGSITS Indore (lower branches), UIT RGPV Bhopal campuses, JEC Jabalpur, OIST/Oriental/Truba, etc., with the best chances in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical rather than CSE. But if your daughter is keenly interested only in tech branches, then choose a seat from the management quota in any good private college.

Ans: Chances with CSE/ECE/EE with top NITs are almost nil. But he has good chances of EE/ECE in lower NITs like NIT Manipur (home state advantage), NIT Agartala, NIT Nagaland, NIT Mizoram, plus CSE/ECE only in newer IIITs or GFTIs via CSAB/spot rounds.

Ans: You have a chance in OUTR/OEC-type Odisha government colleges and lower branches like Mechanical/Civil/Electrical; in VSSUT, but OUTR Bhubaneswar is the better and more likely option than VSSUT.

Ans: With a 96.654 percentile, your son's approximate CRL may be around 50,000–55,000, which looks competitive because NFSU also called many candidates beyond the top 100 merit numbers in its second counselling list. The programme has only 40 seats (may or may not increase) at Gandhinagar, so apply immediately and keep documents ready. It is advisable to have some backup options of the following: NFSU Delhi/Tripura/Dharwad/Guwahati campuses, IIITs through CSAB, DA-IICT, PDPU/PDEU, Nirma, Ahmedabad University, MIT-WPU, Manipal Jaipur, Thapar, SRM/VIT (North India Campuses). Ans: Chances of CSE @ NITs/IIITs are almost nil. Try with state government colleges, private universities (like tier-2/3 engineering colleges), and a few GFTIs or low-demand branches (civil/biotech/EEE) if seats remain in CSAB.

ECE in Jaypee noida 62 is better for mechanical in shiv nadar greater noida

Ans: Yes, JIIT Noida Sector 62 ECE is the better recommendation over Mechanical at Shiv Nadar Greater Noida, unless the student has a strong personal interest in core mechanical, robotics, design or manufacturing. JIIT’s official placement page shows strong overall placements, with a ?11.28 LPA average and a ?7.01 LPA median for the 2026 batch so far. JIIT also states that ECE students get opportunities in companies like Qualcomm, Microsoft, Amazon and STMicroelectronics. Shiv Nadar is academically strong and its mechanical curriculum includes automation, design and manufacturing, but mechanical placements are generally narrower than ECE/tech roles. Ans: Rahul Sir, Recommended order is 1) IIIT-Delhi CSD, 2) NSUT IT, 3) DTU MnC, 4) NSUT MnC. IIIT-Delhi is research-focused and coding-intensive, and design + CS gives scope in software, product, UI/UX tech, HCI, AI products, and startups. NSUT IT is safest for traditional software placements and brand comfort; NSUT’s CSE department also highlights strong MNC campus selection. DTU MnC has an excellent brand and tech scope. DTU 2024-25 data shows MCE (MnC) average CTC ?15.22 LPA, while COE/IT are higher. Choose IIIT-D CSD if he likes CS plus design/product thinking. All the BEST for Your Son's Prosperous Future!

Ans: Chances of CSE in NIT/IIIT are almost nil/dim. You should focus on state government colleges in your state, private engineering colleges, or GFTIs with lower cutoffs, while keeping NIT/IIIT only as very long-shot CSAB options in non-CS branches.

Ans: Chances with CSE are nil. You have a chance of getting into ECE at newer NITs and some IIITs. Good options include NIT Hamirpur, NIT Uttarakhand, NIT Sikkim, NIT Agartala, NIT Meghalaya, and NIT Goa (ECE/EEE where available), plus IIIT Nagpur, IIIT Una, IIIT Kottayam, and IIIT Sri City (ECE/ETC).

Try with NIT Warangal (lower branches/dual), NIT Andhra Pradesh, NIT Goa, NIT Nagaland, NIT Mizoram, NIT Sikkim, IIITs like IIITDM Kurnool, IIIT Sri City, IIIT Kottayam, IIIT Nagpur, etc.
