My son capabity is in maths but he failed in bith jee and eapcet . HE GOT 61 PERCENTILE IN JEE AND NOT QUALIFIED JN EAPCET BUT GOT 99.4 PERCEBT IN 12TH BOARD ,WILL HE ABLE TO MANAGE IN CSE CYBER SECURITY OR ELECTRONICS AND COMMUNICATIONS

Ans: Sai Sir, While JEE Main/EAPCET scores limit options for top-tier colleges, your son’s 99.4% in Class 12 and strategic targeting of management quotas, private universities, or lateral entry can secure him a seat in Cyber Security or ECE. Focus on colleges with flexible admission criteria and leverage his academic strength in board exams. All the best for your son's admission and a bright future!

My son got 89.5 percentile in jee,and got computer with cyber security in vitee vellore and also got electronics and computer engineering in Thapar, what should he persue
Ans: With an 89.5 percentile in JEE Main, your son’s rank (~1,57,500) places him outside the range for top NITs or IIITs for CSE but opens doors to reputed private universities like VIT and deemed universities like Thapar. Between the two offers—CSE with Cyber Security at VIT Vellore and Electronics and Computer Engineering at Thapar—both have strong placement records and academic reputations. VIT Vellore offers a more IT-centric curriculum with emerging specialization in Cyber Security, aligning well with future industry trends and higher average packages (~?9 LPA). Thapar provides a balanced core engineering education with solid placements (~?7-8 LPA) and a strong research environment, suitable if your son prefers a blend of electronics and computing. Considering the growing demand for cybersecurity professionals and VIT’s robust placement network, VIT Vellore’s CSE with Cyber Security is recommended for better career prospects and industry exposure. However, if your son has a keen interest in hardware or embedded systems alongside computing, Thapar is a strong alternative. Ultimately, the decision should also factor in personal preferences, campus environment, and long-term career goals. I suggest to go for THAPAR. All the best for your son's admission and a bright future!

NEET, Medical, Pharmacy Careers - Answered on Jun 06, 2025

I'm scoring 601 in NEET 2025. A lot of rank predictors are showing my rank to be less than 10000. Should I believe them? Will i get a government college? Please let me know if i should keep hoping or not
Ans: HI
The NTA has not yet declared the results and rankings for NEET2025. Generally, predictions are based on probabilities, and many factors are involved in determining the exact rank.

For example, you have only shared your marks, but not other important details such as category and domicile. If your category changes, it can significantly affect your predicted rank. To get a more accurate prediction regarding availability, you need to provide comprehensive details, including expected marks, category, gender, whether you are physically challenged, and relevant details..

With your score, changing parameters such as your category can lead to significant changes in predictions. The purpose of these predictions is to help you prepare for what comes next, especially before you appear for counseling. This process is crucial for your future. It is important to accept guidance—even if it’s virtual—because there are lakhs of candidates appearing and numerous seats available across the country, and seat allocation must be done fairly.

Since the information provided is freely available, it is not good to simply ignore or question it. A positive attitude is essential.

If you haven't shared the proper information with the predictor and gathered the necessary details, please do so.

BEST WISHES.
