If I already passed 12th in 2024 but Appearing in 12th again in 2026 so Can I fill the form for jee mains as appearing candidate and same thing can I do in jee advanced 2026 also. And if I get college after counseling then I will tell them that I am appearing for class 12th for 1st time and qualified jee mains and advanced. So Do they will check that this student have appeared before in jee or not or they will check my documents are legit or not, which I have provided them like 12th pass nios marksheet and 10th passed cbse marksheet. So they will check that na or will match the record from previous database. Please reply! Thanking you, hoping to get reply from them who know actually.

Here is the point-wise reply to your query: (1) You can appear for JEE Mains as an appearing candidate. (2) If qualified in JEE (Mains), you can appear for JEE (Advanced). (3) In the counseling process, you must provide accurate information and should not try to hide anything. (4) It is advisable to disclose everything from your side to avoid any potential complications. (5) All data can be easily accessed. Every document is uploaded to DgLocker and can be retrieved by any institute at any time with the assistance of the government. Always be honest in providing all the details.

Ram Ram Sir my question is i am passes class 12 from cbse board in 2024 but i am reappear in other board as UP , NIOS , OR other open boards in 2026 as a fresh candidate is appear in jee mains is eligible in 2026 in between 2024 to 2026 does not affect my jee jossa counsilling because i'm passed class 10 in 2022 and 12 in 2026. Most of the in UP board i am admission in batch 2026 is eligible. Please guide me Sir Thanks

Ans: Hello dear.
Unable to understand why you have changed several boards for the 12th grade. There will be no effect on the JOSAA counseling process with you. With UP board certificate, you are eligible to B.Tech. also.

Sir here is my situation: I graduated from class 12th PCM in the year 2023. I gave JEE Advanced once, in 2023, but didn't qualify. I have given JEE Mains in 2023,2024 and 2025. I wish to appear for JEE Advanced 2026 after hearing that you can meet the eligibility criteria by giving class 12th exams in 5 subjects via NIOS. Is it true? Because on JEE Advanced website it states that a person can only give JEE Advanced 2 times, in the year they graduate and the next year, no matter what due to this criteria : "Candidates who had appeared in Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in 2023 or earlier, are NOT eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2025, irrespective of the combination or number of subjects attempted/offered." The first time is what is troubling me, please tell.

Whatever you have read on the JEE (Adv) website is true. To fulfill your dream of appearing for JEE (Adv) you have to clear 12th grade once again. The choice of NIOS will be best for you. But instead of trying hard to JEE (Adv), I would like to suggest as: (1) based on JEE (Main) score or your state-level engineering entrance score, take the admission to reputed engineering college (2) Appear for the GATE exam in the final year (3) Crack GATE and get direct admission to PG in prestigious IITs. This is the safest and easiest way to get a degree from IIT, and that too, P.G.

In 2024 in 12th I got compartment on maths then again got compartment in compartment exam also gave jee mains but didn't qualify for JEE advance , then next year 2025 i appeared as a private candidate through essential repeat category then pass with aggregate for jee mains and this year also give jee mains but didn't qualify for JEE advance 2025 ,. So questions is I filled in jee mains form this year as a appearing candidate , am i eligible for Jee advance 2026

Ans: Yes, you are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2026 as your first valid Class 12 passing year is 2025 (essential repeat/private candidate), provided you are among the top 2,50,000 in JEE Main 2026 and meet the age and other eligibility criteria. Your compartment and essential repeat status do not disqualify you, as long as you clear all subjects and meet the rank cutoff in JEE Main 2026. Following the clarification of your inquiry and taking into consideration your academic success for the past one to two years, I would recommend that you consider alternative options (in addition to engineering streams). If it is at all possible, you should take a psychometric test online to determine which other career paths (than engineering) are the most appropriate for you. All the best for your bright future!

My son got 4100 rank in jee advanced and 11000 rank in jee main. We belongs to general category. Which iit ha can get in electrical engineering. Is it good to choose engineering physics as an option?

Congratulations to you and your son. He has a chance to gain admission to the top IITs and may get his preferred branch of electrical engineering. Electrical Engineering is a better option compared to Engineering Physics. As far as possible, stick to EE.

Sir I don't have 75 percentage in 12 th boards can you please tell me what is the cutoff marks in cbse class 12 th open category.
