In 2024 in 12th I got compartment on maths then again got compartment in compartment exam also gave jee mains but didn't qualify for JEE advance , then next year 2025 i appeared as a private candidate through essential repeat category then pass with aggregate for jee and this year also give jee mains with 97%tile but didn't qualify for JEE advance 2025 ,. So questions is I filled in jee mains form this year as a appearing candidate , am i eligible for Jee advance 2026

Ans: Hello dear.
Yes, you are eligible for JEE Advanced 2026 since your first attempt (passing year) is considered 2025, and you can attempt JEE Advanced in 2025 and 2026.

Good luck.

But sir according to JEE advance rule A candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2025 or 2026 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Candidates who had appeared in Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in 2024 or earlier, are NOT eligible to appear in JEE (Advanced) 2026, irrespective of the combination or number of subjects attempted/offered. I think I am not eligible please reply I am in huge trouble
Ans: Extremely sorry and apologies from my side: The mistake happened because I was trying to reply to "Multiple questions at a time on the laptop." Thanks for sharing your views again with me. The correct reply is as follows: No, you're not eligible for JEE Advanced 2026 because your first attempt at Class 12 was in 2024, and only two consecutive attempts (2024 and 2025) are allowed.
