Please help me
I passed 10th from up board in 2023 and I took PCB then passed 12th from cbse board in 2025 but there was a error in my DOB which couldn't solve so I have to repeat 10th again and passed this year from up board and take admission again in 11th from up board,
So I want to prepare for JEE adv can I still eligible for the exam.
Ans: Prince, You are ineligible for JEE Advanced because you already passed Class 12 (PCB) via CBSE in 2025, which permanently locked your maximum two consecutive exam attempts to 2025 and 2026. The Joint Admission Board enforces strict eligibility based on your chronological first appearance in Class 12, meaning repeating schooling under the UP Board due to a Date of Birth error or switching to the PCM stream does not restore eligibility. However, you can pursue an engineering career through JEE Main to target NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs, or secure admission to premier state colleges through state engineering exams. Also, I recommend keeping 5–6 backup options by applying to private engineering colleges through their entrance exams or seeking admission based on your JEE Main score, instead of relying only on JEE/JoSAA. All The Best for Your Prosperous Future!
