Iam 34 year old women,I have a bachelor's degree in commerce in distance and iam also semi qualified CA that means I have not done my CA finals but completed my article shop.I have no work experience I want to work now what would be my possible options and I also have a kid I want to manage both.
Ans: At 34, it is definitely not too late to restart your career. Also, don't consider yourself as having no experience—your CA articleship is valuable practical exposure.
You can explore roles in accounting, taxation, GST, audit, MIS and finance, particularly with CA firms, SMEs and mid-sized companies. Refresh your skills in Excel, Tally/ERP, GST and current accounting practices before applying.
Since you also have a child, prioritise roles with reasonable working hours, shorter travel or flexible/hybrid options.
Don't focus too much on designation or salary initially. The priority should be to re-enter the workforce, gain recent experience and build from there.
