It is very difficult to secure a seat in NIT, but you can find opportunities in GFTIs. Lower or newer central/state GFTIs (such as select branches in material science, chemical, or civil engineering in regional GFTIs) in later rounds or CSAB special rounds.
For UP State Tech (UPTAC), excellent state-funded options include Harcourt Butler Technical University (HBTU) OR IET through counseling.
