Sir i am akshat i recently asked you regarding thapar jiit comedk uptac etc . Sir if for some reason i am not able to get into thapar and i get jiit noida MnC branch not cse should i be considering it ? Or i should be going for nie mysuru cse
Ans: Akshat, both JIIT and NIE are good colleges, and their MnC and CSE branches each have their strengths. Choosing between MnC and CSE depends on your interests and the kind of problems you want to solve in the future. JIIT’s Mathematics & Computing program combines computer science with advanced math, statistics, AI, machine learning, and algorithms, making it ideal for those who enjoy analytical thinking, research, and working with complex computing problems. On the other hand, NIE’s Computer Science & Engineering covers core subjects like programming, data structures, databases, operating systems, networks, software engineering, and practical software development skills needed for industry roles. Both branches offer great opportunities in AI, ML, data science, and software fields. MnC suits students strong in math and logic who want to focus on AI, data science, or research, while CSE is better for those interested in the traditional computer science path with broader IT roles. Placement trends show established CSE programs tend to have more predictable recruiter acceptance, so NIE’s CSE is generally a safer bet, while JIIT’s MnC is better if you’re passionate about math and advanced computing. My suggestion is to choose based on what interests you most, where you feel confident and comfortable, and which location you prefer. All the Best for Your Prosperous Future!
