I m gettin btech comp with AI And ml in srm main campus chennai. I m from north india... Should I go for it? I m also getting ece in shiv nadar university which one is better? Pls suggest
Ans: Prachi, Congratulations on getting offers for admission from SRM Chennai and Shiv Nadar University, both are worthy institutions. You need to decide on what subject interest you--B.Tech in computer science with artificial intelligence and machine learning, or a B.Tech ECE. Go over the syllabus of the two programs and then take a call.
As regards your question about heading to South as a North Indian student, a new place may be a bit challenging even though Chennai is a metro city. You may see it as an opportunity to learn Tamil language and appreciate the Tamil culture, which am sure will come in handy in the later years of your career. Do talk to some of the students from your school, as also seniors who studying at these institutions get their inputs and make up your mind. All the best.
