Hello sir, I am a 40 years working women My Investment duration for next 20 years long term. My SIP Rs.9500/- Per Month continue from June 2016 Please see my below portfolio advise if any change required, SBI Equity Hybrid Fund – Direct – IDCW – 2000/- Aditya Birla Sunlife MNC Fund – Direct – IDCW – 1500/- Sundaram MID Cap Fund – Direct – growth – Rs. 1000/- UTI Next 50 Index Fund – Direct- Growth – Rs. 1000/- Frankling India Focuced Equity Fund – Regular – IDCW Rs. 1500/- SBI Gold Fund – Regular – Growth – Rs. 1000/- UTI Value Opportunities Fund – Regular – IDCW – Rs 1500/-

Ans: Hello Renuka. Considering all factors, Portfolio reports sounds good except Aditya Birla Sunlife AMC and Sundaram AMC. I would recommend to reconsider the same.

I have invested approx 26 lac in unlisted share of 7 companies as suggested by research and ranking sebi registered advisory firm and they sent me deal confirmation letter after depositing money in company account and one stock carrier air-conditioning and refrigeration Ltd is still pending not received in my dmat account whose amount is approximately 3.4 lacs ( 800 share at 424 price) approximately 3 months has passed and they are not providing satisfactory reply kindly guide me to whom I approach or proper solution

Ans: If you are retired then you have to only invest 10% of your income in stocks and that also investing and no trading.

I have been working in a private hotel management institute as a assistant professor for the last ten years. The current situation is students admission is poor. Would hotel management program be any development and demand in upcoming year. Please post the answer for my question.

Ans: Difficult to predict the future. If tourism picks up then there is a chance for the hotel management industry to do well. But can simultaneously upskill your self by doing different courses that would help you in your future career.

Hello Career Gurus, I have a PGDBM which is pretty dated back to the year 2006. I find that the entire canvas has changed with the digital revolution making me somewhat out of place. Although, i managed to traverse successfully career-wise and secured management role but sometimes I face self-doubt whether I would be able ro sustain myself in this back-biting and nasty politics driven corporate world. I have jettisoned plans several times to go fof masters into enterpreneural management or data analytics. I am worried about the next step. Should I take a sabbatical considering that I have the usual middle-class constraints spelled out as obligation to family esp. ageing parents with my better-half playing stalemate on her commitment towards helping me and financial liabilities as well. What should I do ? Please suggest. Thank you !

Ans: You can always do part time courses along with your job and then scout for relevant jobs. A lot of certificate courses are available. Even top B schools do conduct short term management courses which is another option to look out for. Leaving your job is definitely not recommended. About taking sabbatical, it will depend on how will it affect your promotion in your company.

Ans: You can definitely land up a job. There are quite a few jobs available, you will have to search for it. Apply to banks, other financial institutes and companies.

Hi My son from few days has abdomen pain and vomiting tendency. He don't eat due to the above problem due to which he has become very lean and thin. He has lost considerable amount of weight. We have consulted a physician and he has asked us to carry out SGPT test. The outcome of which is high and so we are very concerned about his health.His age is only 12 years. What should we do in this case?

Ans: You need to consult a pediatrician or Pediatric gastroenterologist. SGPT being high means the liver is inflamed which could be due to an infection like hepatitis or some metabolic issue.
