Please drop the idea of repeating JEE or other equivalent examinations. Wait for the BITSAT-2 session result. Until then, take the provisional admission to DS at VIT Chennai. Yes, it is worth considering VIT given its existing records. If successful in BITSAT, then reconsider the VIT option.
