Hi, Me and wife around 40years old, together earns 6lakh monthy income. Joint investment- -Together monthly sip stands at 2lakh -Recurring fixed investment 50k , maturing amount 40lakh in the year 2027 - NPS deduction 50k monthly started two years back only -lic yearly goes around 3.5lakhs, 30k monthly maturing after 50years age will give around 2.5Cr Have 2 homeloans, together 2.75 crore. One flat is in under construction with possession after 2-3 years so premi of 75k Second flat is nearing possession with emi 60k. I willclose one homeloan of 1cr by selling one old property so eventually will be left with 1.75cr home loan of one property which emi on possession will be 1.5lakh. Apart i have car loan emi of 37k, wil be closed in next 2years. I broke FDs and MFs to finance flat home loans. Now left with FD amount-25lakh Mutual funds and share total comes around 40lakhs And two flats when possession with market value of 5cr So now i will be done with one big goal of properties Need you suggestion and help to plan further. How i can maximize my investment in next 10years to cover retirements, child education etc... I have target of 20Crore.

Hi I am 38 years old Central banker and my wife is 35 years old financial professional with combined salary of Rs 2.80 lakhs per month ( post deducting all monthly EMI’s).Our combined Investment per month is as under- -Mutual fund SIP- 1.75 lakhs ( includes retirement planning and educational planning for both the kids) -PPF 10k each for both of us -Sukanya Samruddhi Yojana -10k per month for girl child -VPF from wife’s ac- 12k -NPS from my salary 35k -Further, Life insurance Term plan of Rs 1.5 cr and 2.25 cr taken for me and my wife respectively. -1 lakh per year goes towards HDFC Samchay plan for period of 12 years and expected 2lakh per year for 14 th year to 26 years. $as on date portfolio of ours is as under:- -direct equity- around Rs. 57lakhs -Gold max 10lakh -Mutual fund corpus- 52 lakhs -2 residential flats and investment in 3 residential open plots. - 40 lakh corpus available for investing lumps in mutual fund for additional retirement planning. Funds made available by selling a Bunglow property. -monthly rental income is around 29 k. Kids aged 6 and 2 years old. Have a PL of 6lacs outstanding for 24 months with emi 26k. And home loan of 28lacs outstanding for 4yrs with emi 50k and a car loan 10lacs for 2 yrs with emi 40k. And have a savings like PF-35 lacs, NPS-3.5lacs, MF's-3lac, gold worht - 15lacs, term insurance for 1.5cr, insurance policy maturity in 7yrs with amount 25lacs. And fixed assets worth 2crs. And Sukanya Samrudhi Scheme of 8.5lacs. I have two children (girl -7th grade, 12 yrs and boy-4 yrs) I need to plan for retirwment fund of 2 crs in next 10yrs. Secure my both child education. Dear Sir/Madam, I am currently a 1st year UG student studying engineering in Sairam Engineering College, But there the lack of exposure and strict academics feels so rigid and I don't like it that. It's like they don't gaf about skills but just wants us to memorize things and score a good CGPA, the only skill they want is you to memorize things and pass, there's even special class for students who don't perform well in academics and it is compulsory for them to attend or else the student and his/her parents needs to face authorities who lashes out. My question is when did engineering became something that requires good academics instead of actual learning and skill set. In sairam they provides us a coding platform in which we need to gain the required points for each semester which is ridiculous cuz most of the students here just look at the solution to code instead of actual debugging. I am passionate about engineering so I want to learn and experiment things instead of just memorizing, so I actually consider dropping out and I want to give jee a try and maybe viteee , srmjeee But i heard some people say SRM may provide exposure but not that good in placements. I may not be excellent at studies but my marks are decent. So gimme some insights about SRM and recommend me other colleges/universities which are good at exposure

This is pseudo-skill education — it looks modern but produces shallow engineers.

The fact that you noticed this in 1st year already puts you ahead of 80% students.

Should you DROP OUT and prepare for JEE / VITEEE / SRMJEEE?

Although VIT/SRM is better than Sairam Engineering College, but you may face the same problem. You will not face this type of problem only in some top IITs, but getting seat in those IITs will be difficult.
Instead of dropping immediately, consider:
