Recovery from old dormant EPF accounts could be a tedious and draining experience. Their is lot of scope for improvement at EPFO end on this matter.

However if you get into regular employment again it will make things a lot easier because you will have a UAN and a new EPF account.

You may link your old pf account with your UAN or also merge it with your new PF account.
