Hello Dr...Good Day! I like to have your medical suggestion about the treatment of multiple lipomas on my body. Once I got it removed some ten years ago. And from then, I noticed that the lipomas got multiplicated. Would it had been better if I did not gotten the first lipoma removed? Also, kindly let me know the most safer options of limiting the lipomas in terms of their growth, size and number too. Thanks

Ans: Lipoma usually repears after certain period of time. It will be better to get the lipid profile done and have a physical consultation done.
There is limited evidence to suggest removal of lipoma has long term benefit.
