Hello Doctor, I am 45/m taking diabetic medication of amaryl m1 forte and jardiance 10 and also olkem 20 for BP and Jupiros f 10 .ALso I am asthematic and for that regularly I take seroflo 250 at night .My sugar is 120/160.Probelm is I have developed a lottle rough and dry tongue with a whitish coating which almost goes after i use mouthwash at night .Also my tongue is a little rough on the upper side . Consulted many ent /dentist but till now nothing helped . I have this habit of snoring at night . In the midnight and early morning tongue is totally dry and as soon as water is taken ,for that time its resolved . Please help .Thanks SS

Ans: Hi Sandip ji,
It is dryness of mouth, which is a common situation in diabetic patients.
You are also on Jardiance (Empagliflozin)- a SGLT-2 inhibitor, an anti diabetic medicine, which results in increased urination and thus loss of a lot of water from the body.
Consider and try smaller sips of water and mouth lozenges. Also, for snoring, consult a sleep medicine specialist.

I am not very sure what you mean sugar level is 120/160? Please specify. What is your HbA1c, is also important for me to know and advice further.

Dear Mam, I am 51 years old man. Since last 10 years I am suffering from throat & mouth dryness. Consulted many doctors & specialists of throat, stomach but there is no remedy so far. This causes me lot of incovenience in office hours and specially in the morning when I wake up. In the morning, my mouth & throat gets totally dried. This is still un diagnosed. Please note that up to 2013 I was having a habit of chewing pan masala with tobacco. Request you to advise for any investigation or may refer to any doctor. Presently I am in Kota , Rajasthan.

Ans: Hello Mr Sanjay, I would recommend an examination by a physician as well testing of Vitamins B12 and folic acid. Also check your sugars if not done recently. If there are any raised or hard areas seen by the physician, that will need further evaluation.

Sell some of your asset like land, gold or vehicle to repay the loan on priority.

Don't borrow to repay existing loans. Restructure the loans or seek a moratorium till you get a job.

Borrow funds from family and friends explaining your mistakes and promise to repay once you get another job.

Keep in mind the old saying to cut your cloth as per your size and act accordingly.

If I failed in class 12 in one subject this year. but passed in jee mains. can i still give advanced? considering that I will pass boards in compartment exams with minimum of 75%. Compartment will be in July and its result gets declared in August. Even if im eligible, wont it affect my councelling process. as it is in june july only?

You are eligible for JEE (Adv) and there will be no effect on the counseling process provided that you must fulfill all the criteria laid by the IIT institutions.

Ans: Landowner is liable to pay Income Tax for the portion he is surrendering to the builder. Sale Consideration will be considered as value of developed area on stamp duty rate, you have retained after its Redevelopment.

Hello! I am resident of Canada ,wants to get Rs 40 lakhs from India from my father for making a down payment of property I looking to purchase in Canada.just want to ask do my father have to pay any tax on it, he is looking to sell a plot

Ans: 01. When your father sells a plot in India, he would be subject to Capital Gain Tax (may be Long Term or Short Term), under the I.T.Act.
02. TCS will be collected/deducted, when your father transfer you money.
03. TCS deducted can be claimed back by filing his ITR. Amount of TCS shall be refunded after adjustment of due taxes in his ITR.
04. Please note that both these transactions should be done in the same financial year.
