Hi Doctor.... I'm 43 years male and weight 73 kgs with height 160 cms. My fasting blood sugar is in range of 110-130 and post prandtl blood sugar is 140 ad HBA1c is 5.7. I have a buerer BM27 blood pressure monitor and when ever i measure the blood pressure the range is 120/77. However the BP monitor does record a high of 240, 210, 200, 190 levels whenever i measure the BP and it settles at 120/77 or 125/80 and such levels in normal range.. Is this BP measurement normal and having the highest readings of 240. 210, 200 levels reaching to such level norma ?

Hi, I am having issues with my BP from past 2 months. My BP is on higher side ranging from 140/95 to 120/84. Strange thing is when the BP is measured while sleeping position the BP comes normal below 120/80 but when I sit and measure its always higher ranging from 130/90 to 140/95. Kindly advice why do I have this fluctuations in BP. I had done full body check up and I have no sugar and other body parameters also in line

Ans: You should get a 24 hour ambulatory BP recording done. This might help your physician decide whether you truly have hypertension or not.

Are NITs better than IITs? What about IIITs? What is the difference? What is the eligibility criteria to get into NITs? Can you please share some insights?

Ans: Old NITS are hundreds times better than new IITS.IIIT is a relatively new concept.Prefer good NITs.For NITs you need a decent percentile in JEE MAIN.
